Snow storm = LSAT studying :).

It's amazing how much more comfortable I feel in studying for my re-take than I did originally. I do think the LR Bible is solid. It's definitely a good supplement to what I had already learned and I like their explanations (even if I still read the question stem first :P ).

OMG, what to you mean 50 days...I thought we had 126!

This week I took a free Kaplan proctored test. I have to say, it was a good experience and I'd recommend signing up for one if they are being offered in your area.

Finals and laziness have put me behind schedule. I hoped to be doing non-stop PT's by now, but am still stuck on the LG Bible. I am going to finish it over the next couple of days, then take a PT to see where I am at. If I still feel behind, I might just hold off until June. I am glad I waited to actually register...

I am really late but I am joining in. Taking it for the first time and applying this cycle. I will have all my applications sent out by the time I take the test, so it needs to work out well! 8)

nonsense. everyone knows that logging atleast 45 minutes a day on tls guarantees a score increase of 5 points.

I'm counting on it. Also helpful: Digg.com, Google News, and KittenWar.com.

Plans changed. Got a job. Not taking the LSAT until at least June.

How fast do people generally take to work through one of the bibles? I feel like I spent way too long on the LG Bible (laziness + probably being a little too thorough) and I'm trying to finish the LR one before ramping up the PTs. Do you guys think cramming through a bible in say a week would be too intense/detrimental?

Now that school is on break and I dont have much work, I can spend a few hours a day doing the bibles. I think I am going to be done the LG bible in a week. We only got 5 weeks anyway and school is going to start soon I feel the pressue to up the pace a little.

Probably too quick. The information isn't that easy to absorb and you may have to go back through the bibles. I would probably try and switch off between sections from the Bibles and also sections of PT's (you can use some PT's do to fully in one sitting and some to just do practice sections out of to drill what you've learned from the bibles).

I took my first by-section PT since the Sept. test and got a 166 equivalent :). Just took my first one-sitting (incl. exp.) PT today... will have it scored Tuesday; hoping to be around the same place.

I think one week is a fine amount of time. Still, though, I would recommend going through it a second time after a few of PTs. Doing that really helped me solidify things.

Guess I'll join in this thread too.

I've kind of taken the last 2 weeks off because of finals and then work/holidays. Hopefully this won't hurt me too much. I've pretty much finished the first 3 weeks of the 3 month study schedule from the LSAT Blog and trying to get caught up to week 6/finish the LR stuff in the next 2 weeks.

Good luck to everyone.

Having a tough time deciding if I should take this. The turnaround from the Dec. to Feb. LSAT is so quick that I think LSAC should've given me my score already so I could figure out my next step. I don't want to wait for June, because I know I'll be so busy with 2nd semester finals that studying for the LSAT wouldn't be a great move, and at this point, there is only so much time before Feb. I dunno.

I think I can do really well on Feb (felt like I would've put up my best score yet on Dec. if I hadn't been left guessing the final 4 LG questions...ugh). But I need to know my damn score so I can sign up and actually get to studying again.

There's always September :) But yeah the main reason I'm doing February instead of June is because of finals in June, too. I believe my school (quarter system) will only be at about week 4 on the test date for February.

I'll check in for the February 2010 test.

I'm working my way through the LG Bible, then I'm going to do the 10 logic games sections from the first book of preptests. After that I'll do the LR Bible and the LR sections from those tests, then the RC sections.

Hopefully it'll go well when I put it all together after that.

Good luck, everyone.

First time poster checking in here too. Took the LSAT in September and scored 7 points lower than my PT average. All apps went out around Thanksgiving and I'm retaking to help with WLs or next cycle.

For the other retakers - any good advice on studying again? I'm currently erasing all of my work out of the 21 PTs I took before September, plan to go very carefully over my mistakes from September, and pre-ordered PT59 (December 09) from Amazon.

GL all!

meh, I think all things considered LSAC has done a damn good job with this whole law school application process. Scores will probably be out tomorrow.

For the past month or so my PT scores have been 157 then 161 then 157 then 164 then 156 today. Is it normal for my scores to be so inconsistent? They were all from PTs in the mid 40s to PT 50 today. Wtffff!!!

are you asking me in response to my question or just asking people in general? If you're asking me I've been studying around 10hrs a week for about a year and taking a PT once a week
