yea dont think anything has happened to my 'credibility' for asking for advice on law schools instead of using a predictor.
im deeply concerned for my email/blog/whatever accounts credibility lol
anyways i was posting not to crazy blog stalkers but to people actually taking this lsat.

I'm registered for the February LSAT and so I should make myself home here (Actually this is my first ever post on TLS). Anyway, I started studying for the test last month mid-September. And studying with the Powerscore Trilogy, in addition to the Logic Games Workbook from Powerscore, Superprep, and every LSAT that's been released since '91.
It may seem a bit overboard, but I want to know the LSAT instinctively by the time I am taking the real test.

I didn't think this thread existed yet. So glad I found it.
I'm also planning to take the February exam and I'm currently using the LSAT Blog 3 month study plan. Like most of you, I've purchased everything I can (Powerscore Bibles, LSAT tests, etc.). Hopefully, I'll score a 165-170.

I'm also taking the Feb. 6th LSAT. I just purchased the LG bible and I've been reading a short book on Law School Essays. I'm worried I haven't left myself enough time to study since I just decided to take the test two weeks ago. But no time like the present and if I study every night paired with the prep class I'll be taking what's the worst that can happen? I'd like to score between 160-165 assuming the LSAT g-ds are on my side. My GPA is lower than I'd like it to be but I had fallen ill twice during my UG which messed me up.

*sigh* time to join another one of these threads.
Lol just went through the September test and did alright. Didn't study for it though
So now I'm giving myself a few months of intense LSAT prep to see what I could do if I actually applied myself.
and I agree that the worst part is waiting for your score.
Oh and for the people who are double checking everyone's posts..I know I said I would retake in the summer..but I decided to do Feb. just in case I need the summer LSAT to break 170 (I really hope it doesnt take 2 more tests to add 4 points..but who knows).
JK Foch You actually made the September threads madness tolerable

Re: February 2010 LSAT - 126 days and counting.
Nice to see so many other Fall 2011 people starting to prep - I was thinking I may just be crazy starting this early!
I still haven't completely decided if I want to take the February test or wait until June. I want to get my applications in early so I'm starting to lean toward February with June as my backup instead of June with September as a backup. Thoughts? How did you decide? I'm thinking of just studying and seeing what kind of PT scores I get to help me decide. My completely cold diag was 153 and I really want to hit 170 (my GPA is 3.3 and I want to go to Ohio State). My diag issues were with timing more than anything else.

I'll be joining the February crew as I'm re-taking then instead of December as it's less of a rush. Will be going out and getting the bibles tonight and working as hard as I can to get my way into the upper 160's on the "real thing".
The good thing is, my brain is totally wiped so I don't even remember the questions from the PT's/my earlier studying .

Is anyone applying for Fall 2010? Or am I the only one who's taking the Feb test hoping to get in for the fall semester? Like I said all this was decided on a whim and I' on my own figuring this all out....

I took the September 09 LSAT and bombed... I didnt' allow myself enough study time then and don't want to rush before December. As much as I'd love to start school in 2010 in just isn't in the cards for me; having two kids under 3, a full time job and a family to take care of doesn't allow me a lot of time to study. So excited for February! It is definitely creeping up fast ! Woot!

I am, but I'm a re-taker from September. Hoping to get from my current 162 to a 165-ish to open up the possibility of more schools (normally I'd be cool with 162, but my grades are low, so I have to be at the 75th% LSAT+ to even be considered at a lot of schools).SomethingCorprt wrote:Is anyone applying for Fall 2010? I understand where you're coming from. I work two jobs, one shift is the graveyard shift (hence why I'm on when the rest of you are sleeping!) It's rough but I'm just tired of wasting more time. What else do I have to loose is my whole moto I guess. I'm just trying to study everyday for at least an hour... three hours max. Break a leg everyone! And if anyone wants to bounce ideas, questions, comments, concerns off one another I'm here. =0)

Re: February 2010 LSAT - 126 days and counting.
I'm a little over a month in; working through the LSAT Blog's 5-Month Program. It feels good to have a study outline.
I'm finally beginning to see how a perfect score is possible with plenty of prep, but I seem to be meeting my match with LR Flaw in the Argument questions. Getting only about half of those correct right now.
Not sure if I'll be taking in Tucson or Santa Cruz. Where will everyone else be on 2/6/10?

I'm also applying fall 10, though I already have a score (from this February).
Anyone testing at Howard?

I kind of want to take February for fun, as in, see what the hype is all about on this unreleased test.

All of the Feb. tests are unreleased. They use them for international/Sabbath test takers at other times of the year. It also means likely NO TALKING at all after the test; not even after scores, because it won't become a PT for quite a while. One of my friends took February last year and said it was a pretty relaxed atmosphere and there weren't too many people taking that test.hv1 wrote:I kind of want to take February for fun, as in, see what the hype is all about on this unreleased test.
As for me, I bought the bibles today and am ready to go with 'em .

I'm about to crack open my PSLG bible now for a fun hr or so of studying. Ahhhh.... Lol.
This will be my first and hopefully my ownly LSAT. I need to make it count since I'm applying for Fall 10. I know I've said this before but I don't want to waste any more time than I already have since I graduated in 2008.

100 days til the Feb. LSAT!
I'm currently unsure if I should apply for Fall 10 and thinking about Fall 11. I've talked to a lot of people on the forum and they've been helpful in my decision process. We'll see what happens. Happy studying everyone!

Re: February 2010 LSAT - 126 days and counting.
Was planning to take June 2010 but realized February will be a better time for me because, as a previous poster said, it won't conflict with midterms or finals (I take classes all summer long so June is out). I work full-time and take 12 credit hours so this is going to be really challenging. The other plus of taking in Feb is that I will have a month off of school from Dec 11 to Jan 11 (but of course will still be working my full-time job). I took a diagnostic about a month ago - lets just say it was bad. My goal is 160.
Oh yeah . . . and I get nauseous just thinking about taking the lsat in 4 months.
