My question: why did you cancel your first score?

I canceled because I didn't think I did my best.

Re: 179 LSAT, 154 diagnostic, taking questions, giving advice...
Hey, thanks for taking all of our questions! This truly means a lot.
My question concerns studying and prepping for the test. So far, I've used PT 19-38 for untimed and timed sections and just for learning. I was going to take the LSAT in June, but I don't think I will be ready. Thus, I will be taking it in October. I have every released PT and I didn't want to cram basically. Is there any particular method that I should be using to study since I have a lot of material? I have the powerscore and manhattan LSAT books. Do you think it would be wise for me to study different sections in one week or should I focus on a specific type of LR one week and then do a game section the next week etc..? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I am PTing around 167 but my last pt was a 163. Thanks again!

I'm testing in the mid 160's now, and taking the June. Any tips for the "difficult" assumption questions, especially necessary assumptions? I'm usually good at spotting the assumption on easier questions, but have almost never been able to pre-phrase the assumption for hard questions. Is there something key I should be looking for? And I already know about the negation test. Also, any tips for LR, and especially RC, in terms of timing? I'm too slow. On LR I literally take the full amount of time, and wish I had more. On RC, I almost never finish on time and have to rush through the passages (especially the 4th).

Not to be a dick (because a 179 is obviously impressive), but how did you manage a 154 diagnostic coming out of Harvard?

Are you saying that a 154 is too low for people smart enough to get into Harvard? You are way overestimating Harvard.Hikikomorist wrote:Not to be a dick (because a 179 is obviously impressive), but how did you manage a 154 diagnostic coming out of Harvard?

True and a lot of people miss games like OP. I think he missed 16-17 questions on games alone he said. A 154 isn't a bad place to start honestly if you're missing a lot of LG that can be easily mastered.

I'd be willing to put a very small amount of money on OP not being real, though, still. A 25-point jump coupled with aggressive support of Trump and the epitomization of TLS stereotypes about Harvard. It all seems a bit too much in one poster.
