Does anyone have insight as to how much, if at all, your chances of acceptance are affected by not applying until January (hence, taki

ng the december lsat)?

If you have the numbers (or don't) then it won't matter.

If you are on the border it is definitely an advantage to apply early but it's not going to overcome any glaring deficiencies.

BTW "likelyness" isn't a word.

I think last cycle taking the lsat early REALLY didnt help as much as people thought. If application trends continue like last year with the whole applicants down applications up type thing, or heck maybe just applications still up, I think schools will continue to use the WL alot and wait as long as possible. Heck, I think I got my acceptances with my June 2008 LSAT for last cycle. Yeah and aside from myself, and just being an obsessive TLSer, first time DEC takers really ended up where they should with their scores.

Anyone who says "likelyness" when they mean to say "likelihood" does not deserve to go to law school, and shouldn't apply because they are saturating the legal market with people who just are not smart.
