To help a friend out with a problem in his reasoning I walked him through the difference between sufficient and necessary conditions. It felt awesome and dirty at the same time.

You start diagramming day-to-day reasoning either in your head or on paper as you come across them in either commercials, family, friends, etc...

You're playing cards with your grandparents, your grandfather says, "If you don't have a wild, you're going to rack up points," and you reply "Not necessarily." Then you giggle to yourself because you realize you're questioning his sufficient/necessary assumptions.

You tear up after bombing a PT and then reading through a thread for Cornell acceptances.
Especially bad when your little sister walks in on this intimate moment and also tears up because she 'doesnt like to see you cry'. FML.

-You diagram and make notations on documents at work like they are reading comp passages. Not necessarily catching the details as your boss would prefer, but certainly understanding the structure and how the paragraphs relate to one another logically - you could also paraphrase the main point if needed

-You read this entire thread on a saturday night as a study break

When you're in bed sick you're more worried about getting off schedule than the fluids that seem to want to exit out of your mouth.

You encounter the word augment in a LSAT question, which you have for the longest time interpreted to mean "change", only to learn that you had it wrong the whole time and the word actually means "to increase the amount, size, or value of". This finding not only makes you feel slightly smarter, but also makes certain medical procedures much more humorous.

when you go to bed only to wake up in the middle of the night, because you had a dream in which you were taking the actual test and suddenly realized that you had your warmup logic game still in your clear plastic bag, and had to cancel the test before the proctor saw it... and thusly you had to wait another year to apply to law school, even though during the test you knew you were having your best test ever...

and then you realize that this wasnt your first lsat dream, and you facepalm yourself. happy tuesday everyone!

Your friend is transferring to your university, when you show her around, you make sure to show her the building you're going to be taking the LSAT in.

Hahaha credited.

When you see a close non-LSAT-taking friend explaining, in detail, to another acquaintance about the LSAT, the question types, the most effective method of studying etc., and realize that for the past 6 months about 70% of what has come out of your own mouth has been LSAT or LS admissions related.

This. is. hilarious. Although, I'm tempted to ask if there aren't any causes other than studying for the LSAT, that produced that effect....

WHen you see a monopoly board, and start making deductions and diagramming possible plays/ outcomes in your head( or on paper if you had scrap paper handy).

very nicely played.

you read an article about tiger woods on espn and come up with a reason his play was better while not as far removed chronologically from his...incident. and then, upon doing so, congratulate yourself for having resolved the paradox.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
