Though I made copies of every logic game in existence (and PDF files - but I'm not sharing), I found the best method for re-doing LR and RC sections was just to write, underline, and circle the correct answer very lightly with my pencil and then use a good eraser after. Those little white erasers are great for that.

So, is it retarded to first check my score (out of anxiousness) then go through the test untimed correcting mistakes, or do you think this gives me somewhat of a hint of where my wrong AC's are?

Stanley , do you think it is effective to RC section?

When going over a test untimed, do you read the RC passages again?

I've done some other stuff, I've gone through Superprep, and some of Testmasters' books, I just began LGB to rectify my abysmal performance on LG. To be honest, besides gaining a basic familiarity with the test and its content, nothing has helped me as much as intense, untimed review. Someone told me on another site "you have to get good before you get fast or you'll never reach your full potential." I can tell you that this is true, and I've only just begun my prep.
This is 100% credited

Stan - I had no idea that you went from 154 diagnostic to 174 in October. You have my utmost respect. And good luck on the retake!

Edit: and let no one tell you that retaking 170+ is a foolish decision

This is a fucking brilliant approach. Consider (1) you're gaining endurance and speed in the timed section and (2) you're gaining patience and thoroughness in the untimed second round. I'm putting it to use tonight.

I think untimed stuff is overrated. Actually, this is a lie, timed and untimed are equally important. Untimed is good for understanding, timed is good for, well, timing. And since timing is one of the biggest issues on the LSAT for many people, to say that timed stuff is overrated is a stupid statement.

This would make a killer LSAT addendum.

Wow! this is great but until now nobody really thought of it. I'm going to try it all this week and see the difference. I know it will be a large difference as I'm a very slow test taker. I had a 152 diagnostic, hoping to hit 170's and there is no reason not to try this method. Thanks
