ABA On Track To Drop LSAT Requirement: What Happens Now?

Postby DKilloranPowerScore » Sun May 13, 2018 3:10 pm

You may have heard that on Friday the ABA passed the resolution to proceed with the plan to drop the LSAT as an admissions requirement at law schools (it was a close vote too: 9-8). It's not final until the ABA House votes on it (probably in August), but it's getting close to being a reality. That means the GRE will be able to be used by any law school, continuing a trend that's been coming over the past few years. MS9 and I teamed up to write about the implications for applicants in this cycle and the next few, and to talk about whether the LSAT is going away any time soon: ABA On Track To Drop LSAT Requirement: What Happens Now?.

There still a lot of uncertainty, but if anyone has questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks!
