Where are you getting the date from? I'm looking at lsac.org and don't see it. Unless it's just always on the second weekend of September, in which case ignore me.

Is anyone else gonna be traveling over the summer? Any tips for studying while abroad? I'm gonna be visiting my family overseas for two weeks in August and wondering if it'll hurt too bad to taper back to like 5 hours a week as opposed to 10.

(Diagnostic practice LSAT score of 158, if that helps)

Checking in! Just took my diagnostic. Scored a 151.

RC: -18 (woah)
LR 1: -14
LG: -1 (saved me)
LR 2: -12

This was very rough. No joke on the stamina.. need to build that up. Was feeling tired on my last section. Currently using the LSAT trainer and the PS bibles to get me to {hopefully} 167+.

How are y’all doing today?

@King

I just got home from work. Since I did my diagnostic test yesterday, I was thinking of doing a review on it? I scored it already, but I didn’t write what the right answer is. Do you think I should still review? Or should I just continue my journey with the Trainer?

P.S. what about you? How did your day go?

If it was your diagnostic and you’re not yet far into your studies, I would save it for review at a later time. Better to learn the fundamentals as soon as possible.

I just took a timed LR section. Now I’m going to do another timed LR + a timed LG and see how it goes.

I work FT and do lessons from the trainer when I get home. It’s so damn exhausting. At the end of the day, you just have to WANT it. What I do to get me in the study mindset is hop on over to Reddit and look at r/lawschooladmissions and visualize that one day I’ll hop on over there and start posting “need help! Accepted to XYZ, hello me decide!”

Anyways, it’s what I do! Then I get to studying so I can make it happen!

Worse than you. I finished PT49 today, and scored 140 :( :( the average time for every question in LR is about half a minute, while the correct rate is poor, and I found that I have to spend about 15 minutes to do blind review and analyze each question!!! I could only finish 4 LR questions in an hour. Sigh

I hope this group becomes more active in the coming weeks so we can have some good discussions and motivate each other.

If you’re studying this weekend, what is your focus for each day? Let’s get some discussions going.

Nice. I’ll be doing LR and LG timed sections back to back. I might also spend a few hours focusing specifically on parallel flaw/reasoning questions. They are the ones I struggle with the most.

Hello all! Checking in.

Still not 100% that I'll be doing September, but it's looking likely now.

Took September of 2017, scored a 172. Had spent the summer studying, diagnostic at 164, was PT'ing at a slightly higher range than my final score. Retaking to see if I can't get 173+. So long as my LG and RC are where they were a few months ago, this'll be almost exclusively LR studying for me. Hoping to go from -2/-3/-4 typical range to -0/-1/-2.

Graduating in May, doing public law-related work in my home state, planning on doing a year or two.

Looking forward to helping each other out. Given that this is my second time around, I'm happy to give any advice that may be useful to first-time testers.

hi, welcome!!!
You have really good scores.
Wondering if you could share some suggestions on RC.
I always have no time to finish all of them and usually end up spending 3 minutes reading and noting and 7 minutes solving the questions.

Just decided to go for the LSAT after working at the bookstore in the local law school. 2 years out of school with a science degree (i could not do more school right away) and I was thinking Patent law might be fun. Just beginning my self study and I was thinking this group might be good to keep me focused also help me find where to start. I got the 3 Killoran Powerscore bibles with work books to begin. What is everyone else using?

Hi everyone!

Not sure if I’ll be taking the July test but for sure will take the September one.

I got a 155 on a diagnostic.

RC- -7
LG- 4 (but I didn’t time it and I’m sure I went over the 35 mins)
LR- -9/-10

I started using the trainer and then will move on to 7sage.

I have three kids so I get about 2 hours to study at night.

Work’s been tough so I haven’t studied much the last couple days. I think on Saturday I’ll take my first PT (4-section) since January when I decided not to sit for Feb.
