Also in, think I'll be taking it regardless of my Dec outcome. If Dec went well, great! I'll be really relaxed in Feb. If Dec didn't go well, one last shot at a scholarship score (already have a decent application score from June).

So is this going to be the offical thread?

First time taker going to France just to take the LSAT. Hit 175 on a PT for the first time ever a few days ago, 180 or bust!

Maybe?

Normally, I'd advise the OP to change the topic title to The Official February 2018 Study Thread. However, OP only has 2 posts so not sure if they're up for the responsibilities of polls/etc of being the OP for a study thread. Since I'm in limbo pending my December test score, I'm not going to OP and have that responsibility. I got work and apps to finish.

I'm in because the June LSAT is so far away that I don't think I can keep up the momentum that long. I've already been at it for a few months, so I am hoping I'll be ready for February's test. I will probably try to leave myself some fresh preptests just in case I have to retake, though.

If you study hard enough, you might not have to take June :D

Checking in to see if I can hit 170+ and improve my chances at T13. This will be my 4th time taking so I'm done no matter what happens in February. Just wanted to throw one more Hail Mary.

Curious as to if you Feb takers plan to apply for this cycle or next?

Checking in. Was hoping to get some advise from you guys. I hit a 173 PT average before December with anywhere from -1 to -4 in LG each time. Really want to get LG to -0. Shoud I do games for the next couple days/week or do a PT tomorrow? I just don't want to get rusty on RC/LR, but I also don't want to waste PTs if I'm still hemmoraghing points on LG. Last time I took a PT was last Monday. Thanks team!!

Im in the maybe pile here. I don't feel terrible about Dec, but if I dont check in now Ill surely get a 126. With that being said, even If I do get my goal score for Dec Ill still stick around for shipoasting.

How are you approaching this attack to get games to -0? Sounds like you're going to be cannibalizing tests to practice so you can use the LR/RC for those to drill and keep sharp and also as a 5th section to toss in your first three when you do an actual PT. How many tests do you have untouched. What are the oldest test you have used before but could potentially redo for practicing?

I sure hope so! It would be nice to not have to worry about it.

On a prep note, it's interesting how similar SuperPrep's explanations of the RC section are to much of the Trainer stuff. They basically say understanding the structure and the main idea is the most important thing, and that there's no need to memorize every detail. There's some good question-specific stuff in there as well. It's definitely worth a read, IMO.
