RC passage that you just do *NOT* like?

With the September 2017 LSAT approaching, I thought I would write something about my least favorite section of the LSAT because September 2017 LSAT.

I'm not a fan of art passages; I have fairly limited art appreciation, especially when it comes to paintings. That being said, I do not like passages regarding Roy Lichtenstein (a pop artist whose style resembles that of comic books, PT 42 I believe) and Eileen Gray (an architect and designer who liked lacquer, PT 79).

What about you? Does any particular passage hound you?

I don't like RC as a whole

PT 59, December 2009, passage about sculptor Isamu Noguchi.

This passage is single-handedly responsible for delaying my start of law school by two years.

that PT's RC just kicked my ass and made me think about my life decisions.

I had an experimental RC section so I was sure it wasn't the real one. I was so dejected after finding out it was real.
yeah. I'm just hoping LSAC doesn't fuck me in 2 weeks without lube like they did to you poor June souls :?

Didn't do that PT yet so kind of a spoiler, but at least now I can be fairly confident September's RC won't be so bad (don't seem to recall two consecutive LSATs having difficult LR/AR/RC sections in a row).

Sept 2016 and Dec 2016 both had miscellaneous logic games. IIRC, that hasn't been seen before with more recent PT's (very early PT's I think did this though, not too sure), but things like this seems to be becoming more prevalent, unfortunately, so you never know!

I just did PT 79 and I was -2 but holy fuck the lacquer passage was so convoluted and weird.

That's true, but I would like to think that probability is on my - as well as all others who aren't so confident in their RC skills - side and LSAC will present a nicer RC section this time around.

Just finished PT 81. The RC section was actually quite interesting: Jazz and dowsing passages were fun, and the comparative passage was intriguing as well. But I did NOT like the passage about psychologists. That passage completes my unholy trinity.

One that hasn't been mentioned was a passage about Maxine Hong Kingston.

Generally the worst ones I find are about the humanities.

Literally took PT 79 today and the lacquer passage really tripped me up. Glad I'm not the only one!
