Damn, I just did PT B LG section and G2 was incredibly tough IN/OUT -- conditional involved game. Caught me off guard. Even JY said he worked on it 7 min the first time and was mostly lost..

littlewing67 wrote:Lol I'm laughing right now. Y'all inspired me so I took PT 5 as a 6 section PT. 3 sections then break then another 3 sections. Experimentals in section 1 and section 4 from PT 17. I actually ran out of time to do 2 questions in the first real LR and 2 questions in the 2nd real LR and didn't input anything for those questions into 7sage (just so I can see which questions I get right out of knowledge, not luck and guessing), and still somehow ended up with a 172. I guess I must have killed the other sections ? I'm OK with that 8)

EDIT:

Pt 5
EXP LG -1 (BR -0)
LR -5 (BR -3)
LG -1 (BR -0)
EXP LR -3 (BR -3)
LR -5 (Br -3)
RC -1 (BR -1)
-------------------------
-12 (BR -7)
172 (177)

I basically was saved by the crazy generous curve lol....also I might stop doing earlier PTs because you get these super wacky questions that you don't see in present LSATs.
Awesome! youve been killing it regardless!! Whats your current schedule in regards to how many PTs you take a week and sections, q-type drilling etc? Are you PTing everyday?

If you guys had only 1 PT left that you hadn’t looked at at all, when would you take it?
I have 3 lol but I’d say in like 2/3 weeks so you can assess where you’re at and what your weakness/strengths are so you have enough time to develop them
Haha how did we end up here!

Thanks for the advice! I’m tempted to just take it but know I’ll regret it.

Facts. this test bores tf out of me at this point. BUT I got a nice little package in the mail from U of Michigan and it gave me a tiny bit of motivation. May be able to get in if I applied there rn, but even if I got in, your boy is trying to actually get some $$, knowwww what I'm sayinnnnn

Duh. Honey's got goals.

I don't think I can get into my top choice with my current score and I'm not applying anywhere until I'm comfortable applying there :!:

what's your top choice?

mine has always been NYU, but honestly since the September score waiting period, I have felt more and more like I want to GTFO of NYC for at least 3 years so I wouldn't mind going elsewhere. Really loving Michigan and WUSTL as of lately too! I think WUSTL's employment stats are impressive for a non t13/t14.

Columbia.

I feel the same as you but about DC. Like I would hate to end up at Gtown bc I don't want to be in this area anymore. I also really love Duke (thanks Chargers) so that's another top choice for me!

6 section LSAT because I didn't realize the PDF I had already had an experimental section built in until I did the experimental I picked and then got to a second LG section...

PT 71- 173

LR-7
LG-0
RC-4

*DEAD*
173 nice!

6 section PTs are nice though. Once you get used to them, you start to avoid fatigue and then a 4 section or 5 section PT feel like jokes. I know someone who did back to back PTs (so, 8 sections) and they thought test day felt like a joke, lol. I've done 6 section PTs before, they're alright and do make you feel like shit after but will help in the long run. I now don't do that though, I just do 4 sections but all straight through with no breaks.

Oddly enough, I did better on my 2nd actual LR section than my first. And -4 RC as the last section after all that is amazing in my mind.... I might have to make this what I do for my full run through on Saturdays for getting myself in the habitual mindset for Saturdays.

“Habitual mindset for Saturdays.” That’s why I tell myself, even if I don’t study or do a practice test, going to bed early on Friday and getting up early on Saturday is a pattern I need to keep up until it becomes second nature (seems like something that’ll serve me well in law school, prepping for the bar, and biglaw - life willing).

I totally understand you lol.

I've never been to DC, not sure if I'd like it there tbh. Still on the fence about applying to GTown because of that, may throw them an app but it's probably not likely..

And re: NYC & DC...I’d never want to be a semi-broke law student in NYC - it’d be too painful

You should take a trip to DC - I'm sure you'd love it. DC is actually ideal for young professionals. BUT I've lived in the same 20 mile radius my entire life so I am def over it lol

For example. I went on a date with someone who was new to the city and he tried to "introduce" me to &pizza. Like LOL I laughed to the point that it was probably a little rude. As I write this it's still so funny

Checking in after doing abysmal on September. I guess I'm chalking it up to a misbubble since I've never hit that low, not even my diagnostic. Moral is low folks.

gracias Monday Wednesday Friday I PT and Tuesday Thursday Saturday I finish up BR and drill sections. Just got my Fox book in the mail so going to drill by type because I need to tighten up my LR a lot

Wyd?
Nice sounds like a good plan. Yeah I am pretty much in the same spot as you testing wise and need to tighten LR a bit. I have been just reviewing the LR MH book and doing some question and section drillking up until this point. Starting on the PT grind again and think Ill do a schedule like yours and just remove a PT If Im feeling burnt out or need a review day.

I never BR but I am really considering doing it. I usually just review what I got wrong or questions Ik i "Guessed on." For me it seems like my LR performance comes down to Having extra time in the bank to come back and review a handful of questions im not 100% on so I really want to get more and more efficient with the sections which is why i think more PTs and Timed section drilling will help.

Do you think the fox book will help? besides reviewing the mH LR book again on weak question types I didnt want to waste time on material and figured more practice would be more beneficial to me.

Its time to really buckle down.
