Just finished my PT.

Did my PT was a university library, and it was WAY louder then I thought it was going to be :/ Any suggestions on places to do PTs in super quiet places? Am in NYC for the record.

Aside from the noise, had some timing issues (i.e. Only got through two LGs...ouch). Will grade and post results here later today.

Does the library not have study rooms? I can hardly focus anywhere either, especially at libraries with many people around. I get that it's good test day practice to have people around you, but I also can't imagine them really being THAT noisy so I'm not sure the distraction is worth it. I always either find an empty classroom or an empty study/collaboration room to study in.

Checking in - one more step toward not hating myself if I get the score I don't want this week....

Sept. was my first test. I think I did a decent job studying, but it was tough - work a more than full time job and have a non-awesome commute and a toddler. I worked through the LSAT trainer, then all 3 powerscore bibles, and did about 25 PTs. Diagnostic was 163 - highest I've ever gotten is 174 (and only once - usually 170-172, occasionally 167). Is there time to do 7Sage before Dec. test if I really focus? I know second time around would be better in the sense of knowing what to expect, but I can't help feeling that I should be doing more to prepare. Logic games are my strongest, RC generally speaking is weaker (I struggle with reading quickly under pressure).

Also, I wonder about taking it somewhere else. I took it at Maryland and it was kind of horrible.

Well, 148.

Is a 160 by December 2nd possible?

Seriously the highest I have ever scored on a PT. Super happy about this. Some of the material isn't new, and I know it is an old test, but happy to be making gains in my foundational understanding & timing.
That is amazing.

160 is possible by December. I see your above post that you said you only got through 2 games, what went wrong for that section? If this was a PT after your diagnostic, have you practiced LG? also, what was your breakdown like for LR and RC?

Damn this is awesome! nice work.

I admire your continued dedication to prepping haha. Ive been trying to get back into it since this sept but 2 weeks of barely any work, but picking up the pace slowly but surely this past week.

Meh, I feel like you're better at the LSAT than I am. If I was as good as you, I wouldn't be so in a hurry to study
Aw doesn't appear so by that score!

Decided I would face my inevitably bad score by starting to study at lunch hour. Did a logic game section (normally my best). -4. Not an auspicious start.

I don't have a choice. My application is kinda null without an lsat on record = =;;
December will be my first (and only, hopefully).

Good luck! I'm debating whether to apply now or retake. Sigh

Yeah that was June. Feel like Howard Dean screaming “hyaaa” before the test begins. Comin’ out like Rick Perry, “Oops.”

Maybe it was a fluke. I had my worst PT in a while on Monday and I missed 4 on games (I’m usually a 0 on games). Just makes sure you got the mistakes down and learn from it. Just be happy it wasn’t Test day. You got this.

It may be better noise wise to do it at home using the 7sage timer app that has the noise and distractions levels on it
