One month in.. not sure how to feel

So I'm about one month into my studying. Planning on taking the test in December. I've finished the LR chapters in the LSAT Trainer and have started drilling the Cambridge question sets.

Maybe I'm being unrealistic, maybe I'm bumming myself out, I don't know. For most sections, when I do the category 1 easy questions, I'll miss maybe 3 out of every 20-25, and sometimes I'll miss none. But when I get higher into the category 3,4 and sometimes even category 2 questions, I start missing more. Significantly more on a couple of the question types actually. One of the things that might be affecting this is the fact that I am fasting (not drinking/eating anything from sunrise to sunset) and so it becomes hard to focus.

Am I just beating myself up over this? Am I being unreasonable with how quickly I expect to learn the material?

Thanks for listening. :|

I didn't do the trainer but re:fasting that could definitely be an issue if you haven't eaten all day. Is it possible for you try the questions and hour or two after you break your fast until you no longer have to fast?

Some days it is, some days no. I attend prayers about an hour after I break my fast and also work an 8-5 job so I can't stay up until 1 or 2 a.m. Ramadan will be over in two weeks so it won't be like this much longer. I'm debating taking a break from heavy LR and getting into LG while doing light LR drilling in conjunction.

Seems perfectly normal if you asked me, although I'm sure the fasting is playing a role. At this point, you clearly know the fundamentals, but still clearly need to master the material. This is normal, if you're timing yourself, stop. Keep going slow until you really get it. No need to panic yet, you're ahead of the curve for December.

This makes me feel a bit better, thanks. I'm not doing them timed just yet.

I can do about 30 questions then I start losing focus a bit
