I got a 168. PT average was ~164. Logic games is my worst section. Didn't get through all my prep materials.
Break down:
RC -3
LR1 -3
LG -3
LR2 -2

I am an extreme splitter with GPA below 3.0, but a very very strong grade trend in recent semesters, a very convincing reason for a GPA addendum, and decent softs. Help me please, thread!

Edit: GULC is my pie-in-the-sky dream school
Hmmm, you have a shot at GULC as it is (not a great one, but a shot nonetheless). 2.8/168 should get some $$$ from GWU/Fordham though, especially with great softs. What do you want to do? If biglaw is the goal then retaking for $$ at cornell/duke/nu is recommended, but if you want PI/small firm then 2.8-2.9/168 should get you into some good t20s.

+1 for the 'tar btw.
I want PI. Bigfed at DOJ or the like would be my dream job but yeah right anytime soon given how few jobs of that ilk there are that will open open up in the next 5ish years. I have only minimal interest in biglaw.

Yeah if a TrumpCorn avvy won't get me into law school then I fucking quit

Anyone know where they're applying?

At 171/3.45/nonexistent softs, I plan on essentially blanketing schools ranked 5-18, but WUSTL's scholarship-friendliness is very appealing to me.

I'm also undergrad from a lower T13 where I'm a coinflip, anyone know how much that helps?

So, because I'm the dunce of this group, not posting my breakdown but I will say I performed exactly where I thought I would on RC and LG. Just need to not get smacked by the 5 min warning with 1 passage left. I was doing well up to that point.

Happy to say I got apes and isotopes right.

I'm sitting at a 3.95+ and 173, so I'll be blanketing the entire T-13 maybe not UVA or Penn, since I almost certainly wouldn't attend.
Same, but replace penn with columbia bc nyc can go to hell.

Chicago is my #1. Michigan #2. I would consider stanford but it's so far I would get homesick.

I really really like the idea of Ann Arbor for the sake of the politics and weather and MyLSN thinks it's my best shot at a T13, but afraid I won't get enough money to be able to justify it.

1-18, minus UCLA + my strong regionals. I need to cast a wide net, but I'm optimistic.

Ann arbor is great. I kinda want the college town feel bc my UG is a commuter campus mostly.

So, the moral of this story is not to take the LSAT after studying for 5 days. Yeah, many of you guys told me to sit this one out, and you were right... But I figured I might as well take it since I wouldn't get a refund this late in the game. It didn't help that I was diagnosed with pneumonia the day before, but then again, I don't think not having pneumonia would have helped me that much with LG.

Well, it's time to start studying for real this time. I registered for September two weeks ago and have been practicing LG almost every day in the interim. I currently average -5, so I don't think 170 is beyond the realms of possibility for September.

Here's my breakdown:

RC: -4
LR1: -2
LR2: -1
LG: -11[sic!]

Keeping Columbia and New York on the list for scholarship negotiation reasons.
This is a good idea. Will do.

I think it may help if the school's admission committee is well acquainted with your profs.

At 172/4.10/solid work experience, planning on applying for HYS and CCN. Will apply to any other school that is willing to waive the application fees.

I'm not confident with my chances at Y and S, but not too sure how much a 2-point increase from retake (if that ever happens) will help.

You are almost exactly the same as I was first time. I got a 160, probably missed over half of LG. I didn't study (at all). I honestly didn't study spectacularly well for this test- 3 weeks, 2 hours/day- and still rose 11 points. Think it's probably easier to improve on one section than all 3, especially if it's LG.

I'm long on the Midwest. All those climate refugees from Texas and SW will need to go somewhere. Real talk.
See this is a smart man. Chicago is on the rebound, or will be once they get that weasel out of the mayor's office.

163 for me. But I am very happy with my score!

RC -6
LR -3
LG -2
LR -9

I am at the median for my target school for LSAT and between 50th and 75th for GPA where I am on the wait list; but if I don't get in this cycle then I will re-take!!!
