Congrats on being done!

A girl in my testing room passed out in the middle of section 2 and the proctors had to call 911. She almost fell out of her chair. So that was slightly distracting...

I cut off 10+ inches of hair since my admissions ticket was taken and I was panicking reading about how strict they can be... but it was too late to change it by the time I realized they were strict about the pictures. My proctor legit never even looked up at me. All that stress for nothing

Lol... it's tangential to US History. Hope the Googling has helped.

Yeah... Maybe this is a generational thing? Us old farts certainly know a thing or two about dowsing. But I am sure you whippersnappers are used to just turning on the tap.

The text about inferential thoughts freaked me out. Not because it was difficult, but because of the implications. On the flip side, it gives you a way out of any situation: "What were you thinking? How could I possibly know?"

I saw the teaching assistants but it doesn't ring a bell...was it just a sequencing? I am freaking out because I am thinking "did I just skip a whole game?" since I don't remember anything about it.... was there anything else about the game that might help me remember it?

Possibly. I know it was covered in my History education somewhere in grades 7-12... Then again that was ummmm 15-20 years ago depending on when?

I don't know that I've ever known what a logic game was about ever. I just look for numbers, letters, and rules. Whoops.

No worries - I think I got it tho, this was on Powerscore's page for anyone wondering, not in any particular order:
1. Magazine assignments
2. teachers teaching courses
3. Obstacle Course
4. Workers/Travelers to cities

Trying to take my mind off of LSAT related matters today, but I just keep thinking about how deceptive organgutans are.

I wore contracts on test day. My proctor laughed at me for pulling out my glasses to show her I was actually the person in the photo.

I didn't think any of the actual passages were too difficult, the inference one was the trickiest to understand. But there were a couple confusing q/ac combos. Similar situation questions on RC are generally kind of dumb.

I think the q/ACs were what made RC hard

Passages were almost formulaic

Yeah there were at least 3 questions where I had to use process of elimination, and even then I wasn't too sure about the answer I chose. I'm hoping for the best though.

Literally nothing is worse than understanding the easy passage and then getting to the questions and having no idea. :x I hate RC so much. I was really hoping for a weird LG and an easier RC...

Same, and tbh that's fine. With the newer RC, especially for inference questions it often comes down to what's wrong over what's right.

Pozzo wrote:Hey Inter, taking a nondisclosed test is tough. February-takers and Sabbath observers here in the States deal with the same frustrations. The good news, however, is that for most people, your strengths and weaknesses on test day closely mirror those in prep. A lot of people underperform their prep by a couple of points, but from what I've seen, their performance by sections tends to line up with prep.

As for the curve, it's a bit more complicated than a straight curve. The point of the experimental section is for LSAC to "test" questions for future dates. Based on the difficulty of the questions that ultimately end up on the test, they set the scale. They then check the scale after the administration of the test to make sure there's nothing crazy there. So if the questions on your test proved to be more difficult to all the students who took them in experimental tests and to all the international and Feb. takers who took that actual test, it would be a more generous curve. So, to your question, no, your curve will not be set by a couple of dozen takers, but by thousands upon thousands of takers like any other administration of the test.

I typed a long message and I was sure I sent it, but I don't see it so I sum it up again:
- I didn't know it worked like that. I withdraw my complaints if it's not a special treatment for the int'l students. Still, it sucks. But thanks for the explanation!
- So on my test he first 3 lg were normal but there was something with the 4th I couldn't figure out. Tilted and went -3/-4. Very disappointing since I was -1 avg on PTs;
- I went -3/-4 4 times in pts: 166, 169, 170, 173. Being my goal a 170 (but I'd be ok with 168) it is maybe too early to call a defeat. But I feel really insecure.

Well, nothing special in the end. I'll just spend the next almost-month here doing unlegitimate predictions with you all!

And guys... Am I the only one who thinks that after the scores will be out we should keep this group while entering the app cycle? I found on the June group a not indifferent amount of rational, smart and socially adequate people... Given the environment in which ewe are entering we shouldn't throw it off! Even just for suggestions and tips during the process
