Have the motivation to study after work. Do not have the energy to actually focus on drilling LR questions. Send help. K. Thanks.

They're just jealous that they're not west-coast best-coast

serious answer probably because family, which is the same reason I want west-coast.

I guess I'm the only one who isn't overly worried about family. How horrible does that make me?

I dunno, but when I when I lived with the fam I was dead set on north-east / as far away as possible. four years on the other side of the continent and I'm def whistling a different tune.

That's fair. After my exchange I'm not overly keen on being an ocean away long-term, but West Coast is more manageable. Then again, the type of employment I'd want is more NYC/DC, so lol.

But I'm getting denied lele

does S look for anything special like Yale (250 essay)?

Nah, but they seem to be a bit more interactive with their applicants unlike Y and don't really rope them along. Still unpredictable compared to H.

They don't even do interviews though do they?

They don't interview, which is why I think that PS carries maybe 10-15% opposed to the like 5% at other schools. My guess is they have their 3.85+/174+ pools and then get super selective with everyone else.

Your other point is why I place stanny over H. I'd rather live in the west for a bit and soon migrate back to the beast coast but still, would like something different.

Ugh, yes. Le PS. Curse my lack of life experience and coherent narrative. imo could well be more than 10-15% given how many 3.85+/174+ they cull.

Yeah I agree. stronger clerkship numbers, plus (probably) a better choice than H if you want wc long-term (which I kind of do). that said, I think it would be foolish to take S (or H) over Y for the same reason.

Imma get dinged by HYS, I'll wake up soon.

Idk, for me it's a weather thing. SAD is a serious reality for me, and after experiencing what it's like to have a mild winter I think it'd be hard for me to never have that again. The sun and heat just makes me so damn happy.

you'd get that anywhere in the South - west or east.

also most of the country is nowhere near as damn cold as where I think you are, even NYC and the like will have mild winters in comparison.

That's true, and I have looked at just south in general, but those markets (Miami, Austin etc.) want to see ties.

Not only is the gym closing ridiculously early, they've stopped letting people in an hour before close-time.

I wonder how LA and Atlanta compare for insulated-ness.

I was under the impression that Atlanta wanted ties, but LA didn't care as much as the market is pretty big.

I wonder if as an international ties matter less. Less perceived chance of just leaving for another city to live with family? I don't know.
