Same. I'm wicked cheap.

Most expensive thing I've ever bought was a jacket for $300.

https://restauranttory.com/l/vitamix-xl ... AqEj8P8HAQ

isn't this why we are going to BL?

Lmao....

FF to me in BL, still buying all my clothes at thrift stores.

Really left field question that all 0Ls will def know... What is the policy on sick days in BL? It is illegal not to give them out but are you expected to work at home?

my guess would be you'd work from home because of time restraints but I have no idea. perhaps a non-0L will see this and answer.

Lame. As someone who is debilitating pneumonia prone in my 20s (I get it like once a year, sometimes bad or like today not so bad) I know that my work would suck due to the whole, not being able to breathe thing.

Too lazy/ not important enough for the legal employment thread.

:(

Google turned up nothing that I could find, but I'd imagine if it's a legit thing and people knew and weren't total assholes (which may or may not be a fair assumption) you wouldn't be expected to do much. however, I know nothing about this and am making things up.

Vitamix aka the best blender on Earth

Also costs $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

you'll use it for decades if not the rest of your life tho. if you can afford it, 100% worth it (if not then yeah don't waste all your money on it)

Bro 300 bucks on Amazon for a refurbished one w seven year warranty. This blender will sustain me thru law school and years past. My first step in joining the clan of cookware elitists and have no ragrets

ninja is cheap af and works great.

had a ninja before this and it's chunk city. I use my vitamix multiple times a day and it's definitely worth it to make it 100x more convenient to get your fruits/veggies and massive protein shakes.

I've been getting my dad into smoothies, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll get as fed up with our current blender as I am. I'd love something that convenient.

I just cleared my desk and organized my shit by course for this summer. I feel like I can breathe again. I think the older I get, the more I crave organisation, lol.

Honestly the blender I bought out of sheer frustration. I shit you not, the blender in my house that I'd been using was from the 1960s and jesus christ that thing might have been built to last but technology sure has come far since then. My blender can blend an iPhone. and honestly, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAG3mZgGxfk&t=224s this video is like the most fluid presentation I have ever seen, academic or otherwise. I needed no other convincing.

I feel weird repping a blender so hard but I guess that's what happens when you buy an elite blender

I've seen it haha! I did a lot of research before dropping that cash on the Vitamix (Vitamix >>> BlendTec 8))

they're pasteurized so no salmonella, I've been doing it for like 7 months and haven't died drinking egg whites is now a preexisting condition

Fun fact: egg whites and egg yolks rarely have salmonella. You could drink near infinite eggs and never get salmonella. Salmonella exists almost solely on the shell. IIRC, salmonella can only get in the yolk if the hen is infected with it or something.

That said, salmonella sucks... horribly. I got it my sophomore year from a purportedly good restaurant in NYC.

I think I'll still refrain chugging raw egg whites mixed with chocolate milk, appetizing as it sounds. (sorry DJ)
