Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
I just started doing LG again. Yesterday I was super slow, today I realized that after jotting down the rules, I'm just jumping into the questions instead of analyzing what the rules could mean.Mikey wrote:Damn, that's deep.TWiiX wrote:So is work. Every day I drive in hoping that somehow I'll get in an accident and break a leg and have to take off a few weeks to recover. I don't want anything super serious as far as injuries go.. just something mild to get me a doctors note.Mikey wrote:Can I just take a moment to say that the LSAT is stupid.
Sup y'all
Damn. All of the Neuroticism in this thread is rubbing off on me.
I need to do some LG soon and not neglect it. I was super slow with the few games I did the other day, and need to get back to my robotic LG ways of being on auto with it
I need to work on that. I'm going to drill the hell out of the Miscellaneous games chapter this week, then I'm going to redo LG from 1-38 and drill where necessary.
And Twiix, I'm sorry that your feeling that burned out at work, I hope you don't get any injuries though! :/

(don't quote) only other two options were literally:Mikey wrote:lololololol yAlexandros wrote:Guess who's registered for yet another statistics course!!
advanced topics in the philosophy of mathematics and genetic mechanisms of neurological systems. Both 500 level and didn't have the prereqs for either. So stats it is.
....Why does this keep happening to me. I hate my school.

Haha thank you. Good luck with logic games! I am starting the 1-35 LG drill tonight I believe. It's already my best section so I don't expect too much resistance but I'm hoping to get em done and basically bank on a -0 to counterbalance my embarrassment of RC scores.

The first option sounds either like an absolute joke of a course or an academic hellscape. Nothing in the middle.Alexandros wrote:.
Either it's...

Why?

Listening to some genius pontificate his explanation for why 2+2=4 in the most convoluted and inappropriate fashion ever and expect you to memorize it.

Completely the second. Academic hellscape. That field is insane / brutally difficult.34iplaw wrote:The first option sounds either like an absolute joke of a course or an academic hellscape. Nothing in the middle.Alexandros wrote:.

I have to take a certain number of 4000/5000 level classes that count for my degree. The only options for the fall were those three, and advanced stats is by far the lesser evil.Mikey wrote:oh, so the stats class is required? you'll get your degree still, even if you take some BS electives to get some easy A'sAlexandros wrote:I gotta get a degree dawg.Mikey wrote:wait, so there's no random elective class you can switch to? sociology? anthropology? poly science? any BS elective isn't available, just that???? lol wtff??Alexandros wrote: ....Why does this keep happening to me. Yeah LG is my best section too! I went perfect score on 13/15 of the games I did today and -1 on two. I couldn't understand one of the ones I got wrong so I watched JYs setup (it's the one about the multiple messages that are left and at most one person can leave more than one) and I realized I would have made a key inference if I had just taken a second to look at the rules and what they meant relative to each other.
I've been trying to do RC all week but haven't gotten to it yet. I think I'm going to use Trainer and reread Manhattan for RC. I'm scared to start doing RC again bc it's either great or horrible for me lol.

Maybe it was a late app?
Also think CLS YPs a bit. There are some very surprising yellow dots on LSN. Not a lot, but a few.
