Mormons knocked on my door while reading MH LR and I wasn't having it; just started to speak the 30 words of Arabic over and over again. I was complementing their shoes so much.

You know, it's sad to say, but I find this is a great way to get anyone to go away.

My Iranian born friend is the only one in my circle who knows it; everyone else speaks spanish, french, german or engilish in my group so Arabic is typically my go to

Yeah, from what I've Googled it's is right but I've been getting my lessons from him for when I decide to backpack around Egypt and other historical parts. Could know both tho

I just got off of spring break but didn't to any of my classes this past week and instead became a peasant in Atlantic City. just found out I have 2 exams this week and a paper due *upside down face emoji*

so overall it's going great

nah, I'm too lazy.. plus, it's like a few days before I take finals I think or some shit (gotta check that too, been super fucking lazy this semester) so I dont want to interfere w that

Goddamn your finals are late. I'm using it as "Diagnostic V.2" and am praying for a weird game. how are you studying this go around? I feel more prepped than last year

I definitely feel better about this go around. I'm just doing the same thing as last takes except more efficiently and smarter this time. I want to finish drilling all RC passages from 1-40 before PTing again. I also have 1-19 LR left to drill. Really, all I need to do is work on that RC, stay sharp on LR, and throw in some LG once in a while.

Sounds good, also doesn't sound like you are jittery. My goals are to master weird games, not be sick, and hopefully get a 180.

What does it mean to have "ties" somewhere? (For BigLaw or whatever)
Like that means you grew up there and your immediately family is from the city and lives there, right?

IIRC if you have friends to a city or parents had a house there that you frequently vacation counted as ties. I think it's how you sell yourself tbh.

Like let's say you grew up in / immediate fam lives in a neighboring state without a real market of its own, say like a day's drive away, and you want this market because it allows you to be closer. You still don't have ties because you aren't actually from the city/state, right? (Didn't go to UG there or actually live there ever or anything.)

if you've visited there or fiance perhaps best friend lived there it would be a super minor tie. I feel like goggle maps can get you any tie lol.

I wonder if having 0 ties in the US makes it easier to break into markets that care about ties.
