Omg I've been doing this so wrong...but there is hope!

Post by ltowns1 » Fri Jul 03, 2015 1:56 pm

I went straight from reading prep books to taking preptests from 19-34 without really drilling like I need, I was not drilling as much as I should have been because I was afraid that I would use my prep material, but I'm realizing that I have about 30 more tests to do.....and I'm going to drill my heart out from now until I buy a few test in the 40's, and everything from 50-70's. After you read ur prep books and learn the material, you have to drill at every turn. It's the drilling that makes you familiar, it's the drilling that gets you expose to the games, it's the drilling/getting good at eliminating that helps you on LR, and for that, you HAVE to go through some material used on preptests already. Which means you can't take do full preptests because you need to practice...which now I know...is JUST FINE. I've been so disappointed with my scores, only wishing that I could reach the 160's, like some of you have, but I struggled to crack the 150's, and now I know why. I made them too important...who the hell cares what I get on those! Lol. I have three months to be where i want, and I plan to do this the RIGHT WAY. I want a 170 so bad it's drive me like nothing else right now, I only post this to say it's not too late for anyone who wants to do well. Make your mistakes, but make sure you correct them at some point.

Yep
Are you scoring where you want to be? You've been here for as long as I can remember.

Do you have any suggestions that could help me improve my performance besides drilling?
