Pithypike or NoodlyOne?

Post by kylemolodets » Tue Jun 16, 2015 8:10 pm

I just took the June LSAT and am guessing I got in the low 160's. I will be taking again in October, and want to have a good study plan that is more indepth now that I am familiar with most aspects of the test. LG is my strongest suit and I usually go -1 or -2, with LR following around -5 to -10  each section and RC being hit and miss (Poor with timing). Which of the two guides have you retakers found to improve your score the most...or, is there something else out there? Thanks

I personally do not think it matters tbh. To get better you just need to drill and understand why you are getting what you are getting wrong.

Read the guides, didn't plan on using them. Just worked at my own pace and adjusted as I needed. Drilled the shit out of Cambridge packets.

Hey! I'm currently going through the LG and LR Bibles. I just started incorporating the Cambridge packets into my studying! What was your strategy when going through the correct answers? I want to make sure I'm getting down the correct diagrams for games and the correct reasoning for my answer choices in LR. Did you simply look at the correct answers and refer back to the bibles? Or is there free information online breaking down those packets?

I'm on the cambridge website right now, but there's different types. Which did you benefit from drilling out of the most?

Edit: Found this, guessing this is what most refer to: http://www.cambridgelsat.com/bundles/lo ... g-by-type/

The second one is the one I used, but I did a bundle with all of the different sections in it. It's really valuable. At least it was for me. Has to be TCR for retakers IMO.

I almost never had trouble with games, as fate would have it the actual test threw me for a loop and I DID have trouble, but there's a great site through Manhattan which is basically a bank of every test question with an explanation. I don't know the link off the type of my head, but if you can't find it you can PM me. I'm not sure if posting this here breaks any rules. Mods can delete/edit if need be.
