I want Harvard so bad, but I know my GPA most likely shuts me out. Out of real chances, right now Columbia or Virginia.

Is it weird to say Cornell? Not even top 6 but their employment numbers look so strong. I would also really like to practice in NYC but would rather attend school somewhere with a lower CoL.

I know it's not T-14 but UCLA. I'm just dying for that weather after 10 feet of snow in Boston this year not to mention 18 years in upstate NY. I would love GULC too. I'm going for public interest and government not big law

That's exactly my rationale. Also they have a summer program that lets you go to Paris France for five weeks :3

I'd be lying to myself if I didn't say Yale

You have the GPA?

yeah I'm a little under their 75th percentile, the LSAT is gonna be the tough one for me. I don't think I'm going to apply unless I get at least a 174 because I think Yale hates K-JDs

yeah i think so too. They like the guys who have academics then goes to work and gets several promotions while getting high LSAT. Pretty much they only take sure things. Kind of like the yankees in a way so you have no idea if it's really there education or the people are already winners at life.

Dream: Stanford (not gonna happen). Cornell is realistic for me too, (I think, anyway) although it'll more likely be WUSTL or Vandy. I would love being on the West coast, but I don't think I can afford CoL. I looked at average rent around UCLA and Berkeley campuses, and was like "nope."
