Ehh not compared to the huge drop off after that. like WUSTL wont even publish their salary numbers but I have a family friend who goes there and says it 's not much they get big law. look at USC http://www.lstscorereports.com/schools/usc/sals/2013/ so many of them don't report around 50 percent.... That's because its a such a big drop off.buckiguy_sucks wrote:so you're saying top 1/3 of your class is not "being top percentage" because it definitely isplaceholder wrote:i consider texas and ucla t16 not bc of the money but more the stability in getting big law. i used t16 in the context of seamus saying you need to be top percentage to get big law, and i said you do not if you are going to these 16 law schools because consistently around 35 percent get big law...
During the recession except the t16 were affected in terms of consistent results.... I think getting top 35% is hard but again no one says im in top of my class means im in the 65 percentile....
Edit: 35-->65

I just had something called a raspberry pillow. Despite sounding like an extremely dirty sexual maneuver, I can confirm it was delicious.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
So when you use the word top percentile you mean anything above 65 percent.... LSAT score 155 is top...Seamus887 wrote:Exactly. If I need to beat of 65% of the class for big law, I aint working 20 hours a week in law school.buckiguy_sucks wrote:so you're saying top 1/3 of your class is not "being top percentage" because it definitely isplaceholder wrote:i consider texas and ucla t16 not bc of the money but more the stability in getting big law. i used t16 in the context of seamus saying you need to be top percentage to get big law, and i said you do not if you are going to these 16 law schools because consistently around 35 percent get big law...

b/c quality of job needs to be factored in which means you need to salary as a factor. 110K is their top percentile for big law....buckiguy_sucks wrote:i'm a bit confused by what you're saying here but WUSTL grads aren't that far behind UCLA/UT grads with big law placement idk why you're relying on salary data to show that when there's big law placement dataplaceholder wrote:Ehh not compared to the huge drop off after that. like WUSTL wont even publish their salary numbers but I have a family friend who goes there and says it 's not much they get big law. look at USC http://www.lstscorereports.com/schools/usc/sals/2013/ so many of them don't report around 50 percent.... i think a great way for me to get my point across is look at USC and UCLA salary numbers and people who report.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
