A ton of people here in upstate NY are mad that anyone wants to take down the confederate flag anywhere….even though we live in the north and that flag was literally a symbol of rebellion against us. Not sure if these people know that.

The want to take down a bust of ol forrest in the capital here in nash.
we have a street that has a bunch of statues and all of them are confederate generals (except they put one up of Arthur Ashe in the 90's because I think they felt bad) so I don't think those are going anywhere
