Start with an email if you don't/can't see the professor regularly. Make sure that you mention where they should know you from if you weren't in their office hours every day for a semester. If you're lucky, they'll remember you and ask for a meeting to catch up and get to know you a bit better (resume, interests, etc). I've had a professor ask me to draft up a recommendation (not for law school) and he would sign off on it. It was weird. Most of them I provided a resume and list of interests so that they could better tailor it to me personally.

You should play around on the LSAC website a bit more...They aren't going to require a method without giving directions.

("professor" = "recommender" - use them interchangeably as most LORs come from professors, but same concept applies to employers.)

Are most people expecting a score in their PT range or like 3-5 points below? (Assuming nothing went wrong during the test)

I'm expecting to score +/-2 from my PT average

No trolling about score releases, thanks. Doing so is a bannable offense.

Not only is it bannable, but you can be brought up on manslaughter charges considering the number of heart attacks you can inadvertently cause.

Have you read all of these posts? That must be both tiring and depressing

Ha, no, this one was reported. Otherwise I dip in and out.

I've heard that a lot of people do as well/even better on the actual test compared to PTs...maybe adrenaline plays a factor?

Personally I work pretty well under pressure in most cases but idk how this will translate to the LSAT since it was my first take.

Anyone ever hear of people scoring above their PT average by more than a couple points?

Way more fun than all this speculation IMO.

The first time I took the LSAT, I scored the same as my highest PT (after like 4 PTs then taking the test). If that is true in this case, I'd be pretty satisfied. Any higher and I might excite myself into a coma. Expecting somewhere close to my average though, as that is statistically the most likely...

It's not raining here which is pretty surprising since it's been raining for two weeks straight. Anyone have any thoughts on the feasibility of creating a giant funnel or water slide to send all the access rain in the east to California?
