tea is LITERALLY the flavor of leaves.... like just leaves.
So is lettuce?

Coffee is just the flavor of seeds, all (non-meat) food is just normal plant material etc.
Don't you mean rabbit food?

McDonald's was the worst job I've ever had....
I actually didn't mind it that much. I was always busy so I was never bored, I was the best employee there so I never had to do the shitty stuff, and I was never stressed about the job in any way
Well if I had to say "welcome to McDonalds, can I take your order" one more time I would've lost it.... I remember one woman yelled At me so bad because I messed up her order, for her dog..... I didn't even realize dogs ate McDonald's

No we have an established system of government by which society makes decisions. If you want to completely change an institution in society you need to go through those channels. When society says no we like traditional marriage you can't just go to 9 unelected justices and demand they override it. If this was a true civil right then yea it would be protected under our Constitution but the right to decide what marriage is is not a civil right.
I'm at work so I don't really have time to thoroughly debate this but:

I really don't understand how you think this is a pure semantics issue when the definition of the word in question has a real, tangible effect on who has the freedom to access the legal benefits it entails. Everyone has the basic right to receive the same treatment from the government as everyone else. If I do not have access to a government institution which other people do have access to, isn't that pretty obviously a civil rights issue?

On a different note, I'm as Northern as it gets and sweet tea is where it's at. Unsweetened iced tea is just disgusting.

Also, my Canadian friend assures me they sweeten their tea in Hoserland, so clearly the North-South tea dichotomy is a false one.

But we're talking about American North vs American South, not Global North vs Global South
Isn't Canada just America but more North?
