Same boat as you bud.
SOL no matter what the curve was.

Yea it sucks, I mean I'll definitely take it in October again but putting things in perspective, absolute worst case we're both clearly towards the top of the full pool so even if we get into a little worse schools than we hoped, we'll be able to kill it and ensure we get top 10% to either transfer out after L1 or just be right at the top of our class that we'll be very employable even without the top school backing. This sucks but keeping all that in mind I'm not gonna get myself messed up about it. Just keep working hard with my eye on the prize, all you can do.

You're so inspiring right now.

Got a 169...was PTing at a 172 and if you took out 2 outliers (which I blame on a lost watch) was pt-ting at a 174. PTs were 178,177,175,174,173,171,167,and 168.
Should I retake? I wanted to retake for less than a 170 but the prospect of doing all this again for 1 point....

Also my GPA is real low. 3.1 real low.

Bumping because basically the same question but with a 174, average PT of 178, and a 3.0 GPA.

The worst part is I don't know what I can improve on because there wasn't a section I did significantly badly on.
LR - 3
RC - 3
LR - 3
LG - 2

How was your timing? Roughly how many PTs did you burn through?

Did a lot of prep for last years June test, and scored a 168, around 5 points below my PT average.

I was pretty devasted. While it is a very good score, I knew it wasn't my best. I hit the books again in August and September, though not close to as hard as I had the first time around, and scored a 174, right at my PT average.

If your score isn't what you want, I encourage you to figure out why you didn't you as well as you wanted (yes, there is a reason) and attack that weakness. Best of luck everyone!!

same situation right here. went from avg 167/168 on PTs to scoring 164 in June. Took testmasters and studied hard

hit the books about a week after I got june back. Prac test 2-3 times a week, review slightly on day off.

173 on september go around - higher than most of my PTs

on my way to NYU this year

keep ya heads up forreal

All about keeping it in perspective man. Keep working no matter what, don't let your emotions get the best of you. Might be platitudes in a sense, but it's all true. Just keep working, keep your head up, and good things will come.

I took 20 PTs throughout the entire test prep process. Finished each section with roughly 5 minutes left to go back and check over answers(LG with like 2 minutes left so surprised that one went so well)

same exact breakdown. 2 questions missed on last LG game were two misses that shouldn't have happened. I retook a 169 and got a 169 again...what to do what to do

Yeah, I mean I might have a VERY outside shot at Georgetown. (Which honestly I think I would love) I'll def have to think about what I want to do as far as apps that's for sure.
Bitching about 91st percentile def calls for some perspective, but still. I just wish I could take another shot at this thing.
We might not have gotten what we wanted, or could have gotten. But in the grand scheme of things were still doing pretty great.

Yea I def feel I could've done better too, that's the worst part. Just more for us to prove now.

I blind guessed on the last 4 questions of LG and got them all right. Noooo idea how that happened.

That sounds pretty similar to my experience, what was your PT average again? Sorry since I think you posted that earlier. You may have just gotten the bad end of the variance stick :(

I'd definitely think about retaking, but you're also not in a bad spot to go ahead and apply this cycle, depending on your target schools, I'd think. Your targets really really matter here, though.

If true total blind guessing, you had a 0.16% chance of getting all 4 right.

Go buy a lottery ticket.

Was not true for me - this LG went perfectly for me and that has never happened on a PT. I lost all my points in LR, which is usually my best section.

same for me, went perfect in LG which has never happened to me on a PT and missed 8 in LR when I normally miss 4 or less in LR.

This was almost exactly what happened to me. Was this LR especially hard??? If so, whyyyyy did we not have a better curve?

I'm guessing that the Logic games was easier, and that's why. Wondering If I should retake or just see what happens with what I have.

Anyone else caught off guard by the RC???

I got 2 off on each section and EIGHT off on RC. Retaking and will focus on RC way more when studying... but still, really surprised by this.

Wondering EXACTLY the same thing. How do you even make this decision? There are so few data points in My LSN with my numbers that it's not even helpful - a higher LSAT shows worse chances so I just don't believe it.
