Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread (GREY DEY 7/1)
I had LG as the last section so I was most exhausted during it, which certainly was a factor and didn't help, but still 4 wrong is more than I've ever gotten. Most LG I'd got wrong on a test before this was 2 and that was my first diagnostic going in blind.

169, which was basically my PT avg so I'm not surprised. I really wanted to crack 170 so I'm considering a retake. Good luck to all!

Feels like with a -11 or -12 curve almost everyone here would have been super happy with their scores.

Well, what are your target schools? Retake if you'd need higher to get them, don't if you don't.jumbo2016 wrote:Advice?
Got a 169...was PTing at a 172 and if you took out 2 outliers (which I blame on a lost watch) was pt-ting at a 174. PTs were 178,177,175,174,173,171,167,and 168.
Should I retake? I wanted to retake for less than a 170 but the prospect of doing all this again for 1 point....
Also my GPA is real low. 3.1 real low.
As a fellow low GPA splitter, you're on the border of lower 14 with a few points higher, but probably fairly comfortable at T1 regionals as is.

just wanting some thoughts here since I just finished UG. 168 today and a 3.9 GPA. Hoping for Georgetown or UVA, Columbia an intriguing reach. I am a quarter Hispanic.

The worst part is I don't know what I can improve on because there wasn't a section I did significantly badly on.BirdLawExpert wrote:Bumping because basically the same question but with a 174, average PT of 178, and a 3.0 GPA.jumbo2016 wrote:Advice?

Finally got my score. Not bad, but it was lower than my PT scores. Oh well, best of luck to anyone else still waiting for their scores!

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread (GREY DEY 7/1)
Yea it sucks, I mean I'll definitely take it in October again but putting things in perspective, absolute worst case we're both clearly towards the top of the full pool so even if we get into a little worse schools than we hoped, we'll be able to kill it and ensure we get top 10% to either transfer out after L1 or just be right at the top of our class that we'll be very employable even without the top school backing. This sucks but keeping all that in mind I'm not gonna get myself messed up about it. Just keep working hard with my eye on the prize, all you can do.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Same boat as you bud.pace03 wrote:eh curve sucked yea but i bombed anyway got a 161 when my PT average was 171 so ya wouldn't have helped me enough
