Same I literally have no idea how I did. I hope I did near my PT average of 171 but I could've gotten anywhere from a 165-178 I really have no idea.It's so frustrating

This is just me, but I would be much more likely to tell people I beat my PT average than did worse lol

I could see more people being vocal about scoring lower cause they enter defensive mode like "no, no trust me...I always score higher than this" like trying to prove that score is not typical of them

Well done, you have weakened my argument by logic. You get a 180 Also I hope you are right. My highest pt was a 179 and I once got a 178. Topping that would be nice

Also depends on the quality of your pts. A lot of people are lax with themselves for time limits or don't include the experimental section and aren't competely honest about it. You also never know how many practice tests other people actually took. People lie a lot and exaggerate their studying. So it doesn't matter how other people do because you don't actually know how they studied

I felt super good about this test but I don't want to get my hopes up too high because I just can't handle that much disappointment emotionally right now.

WHAT?? People lie about how they do on their PTs? That's ABSURD. BTW I got 5 straight 180s on my last 5 PTs

Same. Sometimes I think I may have gotten a 178 or 180 and I think of the high that would be. Then I think crap what if I got a 169, I don't want to expect something awesome only to have my knees shot out.

Those are the exact same scores I'm obsessing over! (Both the high and devastating low!)

Maybe it's the same effect with a silver vs bronze medal. People who get silvers are generally less happy than bronze people because they were so close to gold and bronze is just happy to place. A 179 would be great but beyond frustrating because you are so close to 180, but a 178 you're happy just to be absurdly high and aren't close enough to 180 to taste it.

The most frustrating score for me would be a 169 because it's below my PT average and I'm retaking if I get less than 170. It would suck to retake for 1 point (aka like 3 questions)

Did anybody else take PT62 (the dec test with 102 questions) and do way worse on each section than normal and cry because of how many questions you could have missed and still get an awesome score but end up doing way way worse?

I remember that one well....I thought I bombed it...then I realized I got a 173, so I didn't worry about it. My problem is that with our exam, I felt it was fairly easy. I'm worried that although it FEELS like I nailed it, I actually didn't, cause the curve is low.

It certainly seemed like one of the hardest modern tests. Although that's probably subjective the curve backs me up.
