Yeah it takes the pressure off because you'd just be retaking for more $$$.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread (GREY DEY 7/1)
164. eff my life. I mean how can I consistently score in the 170-174 range (occasionally dipping down to 169 - 167), and then leave the actual exam feeling pretty good, while not running out of time on one section, but still score that far below average? I mean was I so nervous that I couldn't clearly see the questions/understand them, which led myself into falsely believing I did well when I didn't? I feel like I worked so hard and now I don't know if I have anything left. Seriously reconsidering the direction of my life plans...

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
my study plan was pretty simple - I was a senior in school so my schedule was relatively easy/light. all summer, I took two practice tests a week. I would go over each question I got wrong, albeit not with a lot of effort, on my days off. For me, it was more about seeing what I got wrong and putting it in my memory. When I realized I was getting a lot of, say, RC questions wrong (my biggest weakness) I would do strictly RC on the off days.Talarose wrote:Really needed to hear this. I am determined to reach my goal. Thanks again!arock111 wrote:same situation right here. went from avg 167/168 on PTs to scoring 164 in June. Took testmasters and studied hardjimmymac wrote:For those of you who are disappointed by your score, I thought I'd chime in.
Did a lot of prep for last years June test, and scored a 168, around 5 points below my PT average.
I was pretty devasted. While it is a very good score, I knew it wasn't my best. I hit the books again in August and September, though not close to as hard as I had the first time around, and scored a 174, right at my PT average.
If your score isn't what you want, I encourage you to figure out why you didn't you as well as you wanted (yes, there is a reason) and attack that weakness. Best of luck everyone!!
hit the books about a week after I got june back. Prac test 2-3 times a week, review slightly on day off.
173 on september go around - higher than most of my PTs
on my way to NYU this year
keep ya heads up forreal
Also, if you don't mind me asking, what did you use to study/routine wise?
When school started, I went to a pretty strict 3 tests a week schedule. Did them in all different environments, with other people also studying for the LSAT, noise, quiet, uncomfortable, comfortable, pretty much just took tests everywhere so that the day of was like any practice test.
I ended up noticing a glaring problem in my RC and just did a ton of RC (like 3 RC sections on one off day per week, even redid some I had done before because I was running out I think). My LR had never been an issue because Testmasters laid a good foundation, and by the time you're taking the test for the second go LG are like mid-test recess, so I had a pretty good balance of studying RC/PTing on off days. I PT'd up until 2 days before the test. If it was on a saturday, I PT'd Thursday.
I then made plans for the sickest concert ever the night of the LSAT in september, took the test at a place that felt totally normal to me due to my weird PTing patterns, and cracked jokes with my proctor start to end. Very relaxed, juuuust another PT.
Went from having the Dean of Pre Law Advisement tell me I was reaching way too high to telling me I could go anywhere I wanted (not true, but you get the deal). It's the arock trusted method. PTs and relaxation. and RC. so much RC.

Start putting some ideas down on paper for your PS, email some professors about LORs and get your transcripts in.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread (GREY DEY 7/1)
I got a 172. Was hoping for a 174. Don't plan on retaking (we'll see how apps go). Grats on the 173. I missed 2 questions that I had right and changed to the wrong answer (I can see my erase marks) -- this is why I always go with my first instinct lol.Seamus887 wrote:Now that all the lurkers have departed, can we review everyones results? I didn't really get a chance to celebrate with yall or anything on the account of tls not really working and me being crazy stressed/excited.
I got 173. Wanted 175. Will not be retaking.
