I live in Kentucky and I've heard people do this. When someone asks for a coke, the waiter or whoever will say, "What kind?" and they'll specify that they want Sprite or ginger ale (or the local version, Ale81) or something. It's very weird.

I had Ale81 once and it was so great.
Caffeinated ginger ale for anyone who doesn't know.

I just googled it and I can't believe I haven't seen it any time I've been in Kentucky. Will have to try it next time I'm there.

I'm curious to know what's the largest score increase anyone here has either experienced or heard of someone making from PTs leading up to the test, to the real thing.

Any ideas as to the cause of the increases on test day?

Any responses are appreciated :D

Somebody actually increased 60 points from their highest PT to their test day score??

Crazy...

Sorry if I was unclear earlier but the number I was looking for was change from highest PT to test day score.

Regardless thanks for your reply!

I'm sure this isn't the most extreme but on my first take I scored 4 points over my average

I haven't started my PS or asked LOR writers. I need to get on the LORs, but I'm not sure who to ask because I'm three years out of undergrad now. I'm thinking one of my grad school professors and one of the associate deans I work pretty closely with in my job.

I haven't asked for LORs yet because I want to give them a list of schools I'm applying to and I can't do that until I get my score. Sort of started my personal statement but it's bad.

15-22 days until score release!

Coke is way better than Pepsi and calling coke beverages pop is weird.
I lived with someone from jersey who called pop soda. It was unbearable. It's pop. P-O-P
