Hey, Gnosis, I also took the June test in Asia (Shanghai), and it's somehow comforting to know there someone else whose gr(e/a)y day has yet to come. Stay strong our time is coming. What'd you think of our test?

I also took an Asia test. I'm not sure how quickly June results are usually released for Asia but I am hopeful that we'll know within the week, maybe even today or tomorrow.

So relieved to hear that. I also thought the games were too easy to be true, and while LR is generally my strongest section I came close to running out of time during one of the LR sections.

It looks like our test might be the February 2013 test back in the states by the way(if you're interested in hearing what the folks back then had to say about it).

Also, I had a look around to see what past released dates were for some of the June tests in Asia (...strangely hard to come by), and I would say I'm not hugely optimistic of a release date before the 14th, but anything's possible so my fingers are definitely crossed.

Ah, I didn't realize the real release last year was so close to the projected score email date. Oh well.

Thanks for the info!

Edit: And yes, I found LG to be a cakewalk too. I think I was done within 25 minutes and I was forcing myself to go slow.

Looking through the February 2013 thread, it looks like we might have to contend with a fairly strict curve. They seem to think it was -10 or -11 for a 170.

I wouldn't really expect anything higher than -11 and I'm pretty sure that was a -10 kinda test. Also I had the same test, I'm sure LR(26) LG LR LR RC. I think that reading section was only tough because it was section 5. I bet you were a bit winded by that point, so it felt hard but you didn't make as many mistakes as you think you did(that was either directed at you... Or at me hehe )

hi guys, thanks for all the information about the Asian lsat. But what if someone took the Feburary 2013 lsat in North America and retake it here in Asia, he ll be like doing the same questions?
I ll be so sad if the curve is also 10 :( I should have canceled my score if that s true, lol

I think it's unlikely that was Feb 13 test. I mean I took Feb 14 test and then June Asia so there's definitely a non-zero chance that someone could take the same test twice if LSAC re-used tests and I don't think they'd risk that.

That being said I would be surprised if the curb was any lower than -10. LG was super easy, like one of the easiest I've ever seen, and no section seemed to be a real killer. Both LRs and RC were tough, but I didn't think too difficult.

Here's to hoping they release scores this week! I'm thinking Thursday/Friday.

Sadly, I've got to agree with Ghost. I think we should be hoping for a -11 and praying that we aren't hit with something lower than -10. But neither here nor there; I'm sure we all did just fine and will be happy with whatever comes our way.

As for the release, I've got no idea really but would assume it's based on LSAC time (pretty sure that's a time zone). Presumably, once it gets past Friday, I'll be in such a waiting induced black out that the difference won't affect me much.

Not to mention I'll be traveling in the Philippines starting on the 11th. Sure would be nice to see a Friday the 10th releases huh.

PS Chin up, Cheng Fang, lots of folks feel pretty wrecked after the LSAT who knows how it might end up for ya!

GnosisExchange wrote:Based on the research I've done, it was definitely the Feb'13 test. All the RC passages and game topics were the same. That is the entire purpose of having an undisclosed test, to have something to give to those that take it at different times. I do wonder if the LSAC checks to see if anyone has already taken the test they will distribute.
Interesting. In that case, I definitely believe you. But am surprised. I would have to think they checked to make sure there was no one who'd taken Feb '13. LSAC is so anal about so many things it would be crazy to give someone the same test twice. Not to mention it would without a doubt impact one's score a ton. I think for me I'd be so shocked it would be a very negative thing.

And regarding second question...I'm pretty sure all tests get sent to LSAC headquarters so I would expect release times to be based on EST.

I'm feeling restless too. Being in Asia means the score release will probably happen in the middle of the night so my sleep pattern has taken a hit.

There hasn't been a single night I didn't wake up at 3 am and check this topic and LSAC.org...
Where are y'all, by the way? I live in Nanjing, China, took the test in Shanghai
