No wonder why I get so many incoherent phone calls the day test scores come out.

If it's good, tell my mom. If it's bad, probably cry in my room then continue telling everyone scores haven't come out yetGreekOmega12 wrote:Question: What is the first thing everyone is doing once they receive their score?

I'm actually from Houston, otherwise I'd be down haha. I have drinking plans arranged for tomorrow. I have to sit in a meeting for 2 hours, then going to lunch until grey day happens/doesn't happen, and then we will take it from there.ruizdaw wrote:Oskosh wrote:174, 171, 178, 173, 175ruizdaw wrote:Oskosh wrote:Top choice is Stanford. I thought about it, and I don't think Harvard/Yale (if I could even get into Yale haha) could drive me away. The class size of Yale (180) AND the same number of openings as Harvard (larger class) for their law review? In addition to their awesome #s when one looks at clerkships, AND the awesome northern California weather? #yessir I was so close this year.
Well your GPA is freaking solid already. What were your 5 most recent PT scores?
Really hoping 168+, because w/ my WE, URM status, and solid GPA, I am a strong candidate. But of course I don't know if that's the case, because I still have to see the scores.
Damn, that's almost the exact same score range as me. I'm sure you got 173+. You kicked butt! Also you're in the Dallas Fort Worth area right?
Wanna grab drinks on grey day?
I just need a 170!! I don't need to get flashy lol.

Does anyone know offhand when it is that most schools start accepting applications?

Lying works too. I made a big deal about my PT scores. Then after everyone figured out scores were in and asked me about it, I lied and said I wanted to retake for more money.

Doesn't really alleviate telling them what your score was. It's more suspicious if all you say you want to retake for money without saying your scoreScalvert wrote:jumbo2016 wrote:Oh I didn't even think of this. This girl from my school when asked what she got on the LSAT she would respond "I don't tell people my score". Y'all could try that lolcdotson2 wrote:I assume you lie about your score as well as why you are retaking it.placeholder wrote:Doesn't really alleviate telling them what your score was. Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Most of my friends were honestly pretty clueless about the whole process, so I got away with it. I just said I ended up a couple of points less than I expected (more like 5 or 6) and wanted to improve my chances. Only one person (who wasn't a family member- they knew the truth) ever asked for my actual score.placeholder wrote:Doesn't really alleviate telling them what your score was. I don't feel like such a small lie about a score is really worthwhile. Those who know the process are impressed or not, and those who don't just nod along and say "yeah, cool"

Do we get an email when we get our scores? Or are we supposed to just check on the website and hope its in?

Agreed. I confessed to the one person who asked for the score. Honestly, I was surprised at how much nobody seemed to care (except me). My actual score would probably firmly establish me as the dumbest person ITT, lol.JaimeD15 wrote:cdotson2 wrote:I assume you lie about your score as well as why you are retaking it.placeholder wrote:Doesn't really alleviate telling them what your score was.
