If you can talk about something negative that happened in terms of how it shaped your worldview, helped you grow, etc etc, it can be really powerful.
So incorporating a story about personal, home life things wouldn't be too much? Like make the AdComs uncomfortable or think less of me or something

Nasty collision between Bryant and Popp. Good to see both are fine though.

Is anyone watching the game? Germany's defense is atrocious right now.

BirdLawExpert wrote: I never said it couldn't, but if you're not as strong a writer as you think you are it can turn out very poorly. One thing I constantly read about personal statements is that admissions staff will read about hundreds of terrible things that people have overcome; the quality of writing dictates whether or not it's a worthy topic.

She asked about how personal is too personal, and I gave an answer that is consistent with the research I've done.
Well writing is my thing. It was what I studied in school and what all my experience is in. So that's not what I'm worried about. I'm just worried about making people uncomfortable with telling a personal story when everyone else talks about, say, their biggest academic accomplishment lol

What is the latest time of day that scores have been released for prior LSATs? Just trying to figure out when I should stop waiting (for today)...

Does anyone have an idea of when Asian (and Australian) scores will release? The exam was on 28 June and the scheduled score email date is 15 July. Will it come that day or a few days earlier?
