Got that email too. Goddamn this wait.
I think out of the 4500 emails I've gotten pre- and post- LSAT, I'd only consider about 5. How about you guys?
Yeah I'm definitely interested in Iowa.

Not a one I will ever consider applying to. The highest ranked one I think was Notre Dame.
Me too. I was kinda shocked by that too.

U of MD (where I live) sent me an email too, I would consider them. Not Baltimore though (and they hound me...)

Are you guys gonna pepper the T15 schools just to see what offers you can get so you can use them as bargaining chips to get more money from the school you actually attend?

Yes, this is what you need to do. Otherwise you can't bargain for more money. For instance, both Cornell and NYU offered me 90k. You better believe I used that against Cornell.

It's also nice to have options to weigh. Before I was T3 or bust, but now I am having slight reservations about that. A considerable scholarship to the T6 would be difficult to turn down.

Did you let your students know you were studying for the LSAT? That would have been a cool way to take the class, because obviously you were motivated to teach your class.

I understand this strategy and plan to use it. But if I do not/cannot get a fee waiver from a school and would not attend under any circumstance, I don't think I'll spend the money to apply.

We should figure out a Chinese Fire Drill-like event to do for our post count ITT. Or personal post counts.

I think most schools gave me a fee waiver. Berkeley doesn't give one, I think. I didn't apply to Michigan, but I also hear they don't give out any unless you contact them.

I urge you to re-consider. At least for the T14, they do view peer schools as competition. Berkeley turned down Cornell matching offers, but I do think they offered those who came from people who had been admitted to UVA, Penn, and Duke.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
