Restrictions/limitations for grouping games Forum

Is there any real material difference between these two? I read the LG Bible, but not sure if I follow the difference. Maybe it's just that limitations mean that you have one or two spots for the variables to go in as opposed to restrictions which just mean things cannot go in the same place as another, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's limited in the amount of options it's has??
