I don't know how I feel about the test being tomorrow. Somehow I'm calm at the moment...I think that's just because I know I'll end up retaking and likely sitting out this cycle.

I woke up at 4:12am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Extraordinarily tired and keyed up. I couldn't take a nap now even if I wanted to. Going to take melatonin tonight and lock the cat out of my bedroom so I can hopefully get a good nights sleep : /

Got into two of my safety schools this morning (kinda pointless now that I have a WUSTL scholly)
This is either a positive sign or a sign that my new score will only be worthy of safety schools

That sucks. Similar situation, but because of some sort of 1-day delay on jet lag/recovery from a 9-hour time difference the week before. On the bright side I stayed up late but still woke up early, feel awake enough for some practice at the moment, but should be sufficiently tired to get a good night's sleep tonight.

Hope it goes well for you! I'm meeting one of my most calm friends for lunch and hoping she puts me in a chill headspace.

Let's go with the former! Congrats-even though they're safeties it's nice to have acceptances and a scholarship in hand!

I really hope I sleep well tonight. I've only been able to get around 5-6 hours a night this week. Woke up at 1:30 am today and couldn't go back to sleep. Hopefully this'll make me tired enough to zone out tonight?

I need to get my photo taken. Maybe I should just update my actual passport while I'm at it-it doesn't expire for 3 more years but I look NOTHING like my passport or drivers license. It has been a problem at airport security on multiple occasions.

Love it! Definitely going with fish- torn between sushi and this salmon dish I dig from a nearby Lebanese restaurant.

Haha! Yeah, fortunately my nearby CVS is great. They got me a decent one turned around really last-minute for my Brazil visa. I planned to do it yesterday but my contacts were really bugging me after sleeping in them on a long flight recently so I looked like I had pink eye. :(

That's always awkward. Whenever I get a follow up question being carded I'm like "well now you're asking I'm not sure how old I am..."

Benefits of having had a beard since I was 17, pretty much look the same haha.

Haha pretty much. They also seem suspicious of my California license now that I'm on the opposite coast. A bouncer kept holding it up to the light and inspecting it from all the angles and apologized but said that I don't look old enough, or like my pic, and California is a go-to for fakes.
