Well this thread just got DARK...

Read that in a public bathroom and laughed out loud. Now I'm a creep.

Reviewing PT's like, "Yeah... I can do better."

I'm back to feeling insecure and anxious. I'm working on recent LSATs today after doing a lot of older LSATs for the past couple weeks (early 2000s) and my LR game is taking a serious hit. I was literally breezing through LR recently, and now I'm having to read and reread questions...I'm even conceptualizing the questions wrong (i.e. looking for inferences and meaning as opposed to focusing on the logical facts and structure).
This hurts so much. :(

Someone please...tell me something good.

Same thing's happening to me. I was scoring comfortably above 170 in pre-60s PTs, and from then on my performance on LR has been seriously spotty. I'll literally go -1 on one section and -7 on the second. The way I'm thinking about it is, I know exactly what I need to do--I wouldn't be scoring -1 or -2 on some sections if I had no clue what I was doing. I'm sure the same is more or less true for you. Sometimes I'll just lose focus, or rush through a question when I really don't need to.
The questions are honestly not that much different, I think it's just a little bit harder to feel confident in your AC because they've lowered the bar for correctness, if that makes sense. You know exactly what you need to do, because you've been doing it all along. Identify the ones you missed, figure out why you missed them, and work on not repeating those mistakes in the future. You got this.

I needed that. You've become my friend.

Wahooo

Oh, and none of this now

On a break from taking PT76

To the guy sitting across from me, who is sighing and light coughing every 1.5 minutes (not kidding), I started doing the same (minus coughing) to irritate you. An eye for an eye, which Augustine from RC passage A in the PT 70s would disapprove of.

Djakcjwocjekocle

That third game from PT 76 was tough. Jumped to game 4 and came back to 3, and barely finished in time

Is it weird that I'm relatively calm about the whole thing? Granted I'm planning to apply next cycle so I still have time if everything goes terribly wrong on Saturday, but I just expected to be freaking out at least a tiny bit by now. Nope, nothing.

Also mostly sad. I've accepted I'm probably not getting what I want.

Try to keep in mind many high scorers have endured exactly what you're going through.
I mean...just look at this thread. It has devolved into a cyber nuthouse full of neurotics, depressives, and borderline suicidal urges.
