Figured out the inference I missed on the 3rd game and was able to finish with 5 minutes to spare. Still one of the more challenging games sections as a whole that I can recall. I made some really dumb mistakes on the second LR which I'm almost positive was the result of being so demoralized after that LG. Taking more timed sections tomorrow and a PT on Monday.

Agreed with 62. I also had -3 on that LG two weeks ago, and considering I missed 4 in june I freaked out and in a week learned another, inductive method.

Now I routinely switch between it and my previous, deductive method (the one most courses/booklets teach) depending on the difficulty of the question and my awareness of the inference. That way, if I miss an inference I won't miss the question.

Long story short, that's why I've been perfect on LG for some time.

Care to share the 'inductive method'?

Checking in after having lurked for the past ~80 pages.

Took PT69 today:
LR1: -1
LG: -0
LRX: -2 (experimental, from PT48)
RC: -5
LR2: -7
169

I essentially went straight through, with a very short bathroom break between the experimental and RC and no food (poor planning). Not too happy with this only because I know I can do better on RC and LR, but I'm pretty sure fatigue/hunger played at least some part.

Planning to knock out 70-76 between now and test day and hoping to establish better consistency.

Has anyone ever tried going through their LR sections backwards (i.e. starting with the last question and working back to the first)? I started doing this when I noticed a lot of the ones I was missing were between 20-26. Usually it was due to taking up too much time on the easier questions on the front end--going through each and every AC to make sure I have it right even when I have a high degree of confidence in my answer--causing me to rush through the more difficult questions towards the end. So, I started working sections backwards relatively recently and so far it's certainly seemed to help with pacing and timing (LR2 above being a significant outlier--my average pre-method-change was -3-4, now closer to -0-2 per section). The only drawback I can foresee is somehow forgetting you've started at the back and making some horrible bubbling error (I bubble after each question), but if you keep your head in the game it shouldn't be a problem.
It could also be that merely making a minor change in approach itself is helping me stay more focused, leading to somewhat improved performance. At any rate, has anyone else ever tried something like this? Are there any other big potential drawbacks that I haven't considered?

Damn what day do you plan on taking it? I was planning on taking PT 72 (re-taking it) and PT 75 (fresh) tomorrow, and then save PT 76 for next monday as my final. lol But I definitely would rather review it with someone. Would you be willing to work it in next monday? Or even next weekend? Then we can skype and review!

Just scored 167 on PT 50:

RC: ~7 (28 questions in this section yuck! :( )
LG: ~0
LR: ~6

Something just opened up for me this last month in LR. After studying all these months something just clicked. It's really all about keeping your head clear, predicting answers, and not rushing. I'm hoping to get these 167 consistent or squeeze a few more points!

Do you guy's think I should do the LVL 4 difficulty questions from the Cambridge Packets or just stick with fresh sections during the week?

i think some ppl are taking it on saturday. is that okay with you? I think if you're missing certain types, you should drill using level 4 difficulty. if not, fresh sections are good too.

Just finished taking PT 76.

167

I wasn't expecting much better after running out of time in rc and lg. the test I thought was average difficulty so I must have missed much more on LR than what I should. have to say very disappointed that after much drills, I scored this low.

I will BR to know where I screwed up big.

ETA: just done BRing the LR sections. Changed 2 answers on LR1 and changed 1 answer on LR2. if my BR choices are correct, that'd mean i didn't really do as bad in LR sections as i initially thought i did. since for 167 i must have missed >15 questions, it could again boil down to my RC. I didn't bubble 1 RC question and guessed on 2 lg questions due to being out of time.

done reviewing PT 70, a little bummed. At the end of the last section, which was LR, I just kept rereading questions at the end and not comprehending anything, I think it was fatigue. should've brought a snack to eat during break.

Score 167 / BR 173

LR -2
RC -5 (getting better)
LG -4 (one game just totally stumped me)
LR -5 (I think fatigue got to me)

I thought running two miles in the morning would help my concentration but I think it makes it worse, and me more hungry. hoping to get 170+ on Wednesday.

I have the same fatigue/reading but not comprehending problem on the last section too. I'm the opposite with morning exercise though, it makes my scores better! I run for 30ish minutes every morning and I find that it helps me enough get jitters out so that I can sit still through the whole test. It also helps give me enough adrenaline to really wake up.
The hunger is real though.
