I'll have what he's having.

Seriously; how do you do it? My RC is a volatile -3 to -6, my LG sits at a comfortable 0/-1 (rule substitutions >.>) but LR...I'm content some days if I go -8. October's test had me at -14 when I was PTing around -7/8 prior to. If I could manage to get the same level of understanding of LR as I do LG I'd be seeing ya'll in the T14 next fall.

Whenever I go 0/-1 on an LR section I feel like Neo at the end of The Matrix when he found out he was "The One"

My LG is frustrating in that during drills and single timed sections I always go -0. But on PTs I almost always hit between -1 and -3.
Usually when I feel I did well on an LR section, I bombed it (mostly due to reading errors or bad prephrasing). Consequently, I had that happen to me on PT66, I only went -1/-3 on LR and didn't think I had done well either.

Is it a certain type of question within games that causes you to miss a few? I know rule subs get me a ton, followed by lengthy games with brute force questions.

My general impression is that they will look at whatever transcript you send them. So, if you think your fall grades will raise your GPA, wait to send an updated transcript to LSAC before submitting. Otherwise, I'm not sure that schools would ask for it unless you get waitlisted (but I could be wrong).

I started the day off with some LG drills... I need to get that down to consistent -0.

Then, I went to LR, which started horribly with a -9. However, I bounced back with two -3's on different PT's.

I'm with you guys that score all over the place in LR... Hopefully that first section was an aberration.

You've got this!!! What I have found useful (and it shows in my PT results) is to do maybe 2 PT's a week, at most. I bombed in October (like 8 points below my avg...). And, at first, I was extremely discouraged. But I've seen some major progress and the key, for me, has been to push back on studying, and take planned and consistent breaks from it. Having a fresh, clear mind is imperative... otherwise, you're really studying in vain. So, I would say if its mental exhaustion, take a break. If it's a lack of focus, that may as well be a indirect symptom of impending exhaustion... and, of course, exhaustion can stem from NON-lsat related stuff... keep at it, but be mindful and diligent. Calculated, efficient studying > plowing through PT's and drills.

Been trying meditation for 10 minutes each morning and I think it's helping. Today when I took my PT I could tell I was concentrating much more, especially for the first half. It helps being able to block out all other thoughts and just focus on the task at hand.

I downloaded the app Headspace. It has a free trial mode where it gives you 10-minute guided meditation for ten days. That's what I've been doing.

Drilled a little bit of everything today. Taking PT 58 tomorrow morning at 8:30 before by 12:30 class, because I really need to start waking up earlier and not doing PTs in the afternoon. Feelin good.

I've noticed lately that I can barely focus on drilling anymore. I've done so much of it that now my mind begins to wander every 3 or 4 questions. So I think I'm going to shift most of my prep to PTs now. Hoping to get in 72 and 73 this week, 74 and 75 next week, and 76 the Tuesday before gameday.
72 is an interesting PT to say the least. do post your experience with it.

I waived my right to see the LOR but curiosity is a b****. So if I email my professor asking him to email me a copy of the LOR, will it be a violation of any sort?

Funny story guys, I was doin game 4 on PT 60 this morning and after I finished I reviewed what I had gotten wrong. I came to one question which I thought I had correct and discovered I was wrong. So I have the typical "I don't know what I'm doing face" on and I try to attempt the question again. I check every rule thoroughly to make sure I've done everything right, and by the time I'm done I'm still not understanding where I went wrong....then I go over to look at the answer choice I selected lol. Low and behold, my answer was not the answer I picked! I hate timing!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
