What is pop punk?
Seconded.

But I enjoy some rise against.
Its your new favorite musical genre! Blink 182 was by far the most popular pop punk band overall - its not a big genre right now at all obviously.

Check out The Story So Far if you wanna hear some modern pop punk. Under Soil and Dirt is probably their best album
Googled em, not bad! Gunna try and throw them into my rotation.

Thoughts on the The Offspring?
The Offspring are amazing!!! And I'm so happy to meet some fellow Rise Against fans :D You people are my people.

The only people I mention it to are my family and my friend who I studied for the LSAT with and who is very aware of my cycle. My family are all supportive of my ambitions. I try to stay out of conversations with other people about it since the average person at my school is hoping for sticker at Barry.

Agreed. I never come out and say where I'm applying unless asked. When I first started studying for the LSAT, I did feel good knowing that if I gave up on all my hopes and dreams, Barry would be waiting.

Woohoo! For the first time ever I broke 170 on a PT! Haha. 171 on 65, have yet to BR it (I just couldn 't wait). Did it through 7 sage so I didn't see how my breakdown was, so that should help. I have yet to score lower than my June test so at least that is reassuring!

As for the people who are having trouble getting motivation, I'm right there with you. Hard to be abroad and stay inside most of the day, especially when it gets dark so quickly here. I always try the 5 minute rule (it's worked pretty good in all aspects of life since I've started doing it). I tell myself I'll do it for 5 minutes and then evaluate if I want to continue or not, and it is a lot easier to continue studying after starting rather then get up thinking about how you'll be doing it for several hours at a time.

Pop punk...what a throw back. Nothing beats old school Yellowcard, simple plan, blink 182, all american rejects, taking back sunday, and of course MCR (if you all count that!)

Yes! For some reason I wrote all my 8th grade English papers to "Want You Bad." It's still in my iTunes.

ETA: Loving all of the pop-punk talk. Definitely throwback time. We even had Yellowcard lyrics on our hs orchestra trip t shirts. Also, was anybody into ska? It was weirdly popular in my hometown circa 1999-2002ish.

If I don't stop listening to Paramore so much I'm going to burn out on them and lose my top pump up music for the Dec test lol.
My pump up song for years has been Thrash Unreal by Against Me. Never gets old.

Haha! My climbing gym has been playing a bunch of Paramore and Rise Against lately. It is good pump up music.
