If I can maintain the -0/-2 on LG like I did pre-70s I will certainly get a 170+

It assumes the flaw that if two events are correlated, so one can "reasonably conclude" that stress sometimes reduces the pain. For all we know, since those who experience less pain and are waiting to find out if they'll receive surgery, they could be bottling up the pain which is leading to uncertainty/stress. So it could be the other way around, where uncertainty is causing less pain, more stress, or not feeling pain is causing more stress. I ended up picking B as it didn't commit a flaw and was in line with "one can reasonably conclude".

yup it was very very funky, i think i spent 5 mins on it.
how are you handling such questions that are sorta different than norm? i couldn't bring myself to pick the credited one just because of the glaring issue with it.

elimination, i was very confident the others were way more wrong. unfortunately its the only thing that actually flowed with the structure of the argument.
[+] Spoiler
if instead, in that second premise, they some something like "assuming that not knowing is more relaxing than knowing" you wouldnt have had any issue with it right? you would have been willing to go on and say relaxing can reduce pain. structurally that makes some sense and, more importantly does not violate anything
[+] Spoiler
that'd still be an issue due to correlation to causation, no. i can see how it structurally makes sense though. for B, we know that those who have more pain correlate with some beneficial effects (i.e. less stress). so is it wrong because it refers to pain being beneficial to some extent for "all" heart patients when the benefits of pain only go to patients with uncertainty? i assume that language of B doesn't necessarily suggest pain causes benefits and only that that these two go together.

Will take my last PT (PT 75) ever tomorrow morning. Feels great but also feels like I'm letting go a part of me.

The new LR questions are kinda sorta really different from the older ones. -_-. don't want this to throw me off.

So in the worst case scenario that some of us feel like we bombed a section of the test on Saturday, what are some of your tactics to get over it mid-test?

if anyone understands 76.lr1.5, can you explain how the credited choice is NA?
[+] Spoiler
even though it's an early question, i missed it. i think the gap is that "message of the protest rally is the one that govt entirely supports" doesn't mean that the protest rally doesn't have a message that the govt also opposes. the argument assumes that protest rally doesn't also have a message that govt opposes and the placement of "entirely" makes it hard to see. correct?
but C applies to "all" protest rallies whereas the argument needs to assume this only for this rally. how is it necessary?

Wow. I'm not doing any studying tomorrow.
I'm definitely going to take it. But i don't know if I'm even going to grade it/go over it. Just want to do it because if I run out of time on Saturday I'm going to have a guilty conscience otherwise.

I just listened an NPR podcast that having plan B's make us perform significantly worse than not considering a plan B. However that doesn't mean plan B's don't lack value. Kind of a difficult dissonance

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
