Thank you very much! I was testing at the same level before under performing severely on test day. Making LG a reliable firewall would go a long way in helping me cope with my anxiety. I have almost exactly three months left (Asia test) so I feel hopeful!

Re: June 2015 Re-Takers Study Thread
I am having trouble with reading comprehension because of how difficult (in my opinion) it is to balance time. I am going to begin adopting the "time bank" that Manhattan proposes - each passages takes eight minutes, and you have 3 additional minutes in the bank - but was wondering what those who were successful with RC have been doing?
How long do you take to read the passage? Answer the questions? Do you write on the passage?
This is my biggest area of concern. On the last test I took (Dec 2014), I missed 9 questions on the RC. If I can reduce that to -4 or -3, I think I can be in the 170 range.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am glad to find myself in sober company. Although it is extremely difficult, in the interest of TT, I promise to give up my favorite Mr. Green. I say good bye to shitpoasting with a heavy heart! Oh tears! BRB! Tears!

Joining in here. Maybe this thread will motivate me in ways the other one hasn't.
Second re-take. +3 on the previous, expecting a needed push off some waitlists.

Re: June 2015 Re-Takers Study Thread
Checking in.
So I've been consistently inconsistent in my days-dedicated-to-LSAT, and I just got back from a weekend of skiing. That was my last days off of LSAT from now til week-of.
Still super concerned about taking the test abroad, right after a close friend's wedding. But ah well.
I have a fair bit of Cambridge packets to go through. Right now I'm going through the Trainer. So I figure: Trainer + packets, with a few PTs while I go. I'm interspersing PTs I've seen before w/ new ones just because I'd like to save some fresh PTs for the last stretch, while still maximizing my exposure to good habits.
Ideally I'll approach June LSAT having done ~40 PTs twice each, the remainder done once, and save 5-7 PTs in case I need to retake in the fall.

I personally don't do higher LSAT's than my target search number because I don't want to inflate my chances, but most people do a three number range like that.
I prefer to do a bigger gpa range and tiny/no LSAT range.
Be cognizant of medians when making your range. For instance, it's appropriate to do a large range if you wanna search a 177. You could be justified in doing 174-180 because a 177 is above all medians & so is that range.

The Confession and Plan of BLM
I have been spending an hour on studying for LSAT every other day or so for the last couple months. Before that, I either did not study or studied couple hours a week since my June attempt which fetched me a mediocre 164. LG was my weakest section.
Post 164, my work, which has been on and off, has comprised of fiddling with some games, and recently, starting to read the Trainer.
Plan:
The Trainer + PTs 51-60 as practice (As suggested by the Trainer)
MLSAT LG, LR and RC
Cambridge Packets for LG, LR and RC (That covers PTs 1-40)
8 section PTs from 41-50, Super Prep and 61-74

I usually do a GPA range a little below what mine is since its close to a few medians and I don't want to be optimistic. I like to use the ranged LSAT option shown here:

Work got rid of free coffee (we now have to pay 50 cents per cup wtf) so I've been bringing diet Dr. Pepper instead.
It's not the same.

Hey been studying for June retake and was doing really good on PTs til my yesterday one where I got a 163. Feeling frustrated since my goal is 170. I'm hoping its just a small setback because I don't want to take in September but I'm not gonna take in June unless I'm feeling confident
We'll see in the next few weeks I guess

Well you won't have to because there's no September test this year.

No free coffee at work sucks. Sbux is starting to suck too though!

Rigo, when did you get an office job? I always thought you were just starting the adventure placement in the summer.

Sorry about the setback Grantb - which PT did you take? As long as you're logging your weak spots and drilling tf out of those, you should be in good shape for June! Definitely agree with you on holding off on taking it until you feel 180% ready.
