Really funny poll, Shak. I only hope to be as good of an OP for the regular June thread as you are with the veterans.

Does Rigo have OP envy? Shak, that should be your new poll.

Being OP seems kind of frivolous when I pull the strings anyways.

Repetition and review is the obvious answer. But you might consider adjusting your diagramming and inference strategies. What about grouping games has been giving you trouble? Are you struggling more with in/out games or games with 3+ groups? There are some super convenient inferences that you can make in in/out games that will make your life so much easier. For example, if you see a not both rule, you know that at least one slot in the out group is filled with one or the other of those variables. If you write those slots into your diagram, often other things will fall into place. 3+ group games are similar, especially when the groups have limited slots. Knowing when to "close out" a group will often lead to inferences in the other groups.

If you're used to being in ordering land, it can be a tough transition. But there's a really limited number of grouping relationships that can exist. Let us know what's tripping you up, and maybe we can help.

Thanks, BPB! I was used to being in ordering land, and the transition indeed was tough! Now I am well versed with the grouping land as well! I am still drilling grouping, but past the first two-three days, it has been pretty smooth! Happy!

Hello my little warriors. I hope studying is going well. Anyone have any concerns or questions? I'll do my best to have Rigo answer them.

A lot of things have happened and now I'm not sure whether I want to take the test again. First, I haven't been studying for the LSAT at all for a couple of months. I've been studying a little for the GMAT and despite the fact that I can't remember much algebra I got 770 on my first prep test last week. Right now an MBA or a masters of accounting is looking more appealing to me than a JD. But I figure if I'm ever going to make a serious run at a 180 just for the love of the game it should probably be now. I can put in six weeks of LSAT and just delay my GMAT study and see what happens. I like the actual LSAT test way more than the GMAT, but one nice thing about the GMAT is that I could register to take it pretty much any time I feel ready, even as soon as next week.

Which brings me to the next problem. I was initially kind of butt hurt because the LSAT is not being administered in June at my city's flagship public school where I took it in February and I would instead have to take it at the local Catholic TTT. So I put off registering, and now I just found out that said TTT is full up and I would have to travel an hour to the middle of nowhere to take it.

And the final thing is that I had a dream last night that the LSAT was in triathlon format, LG and then bike and run. I suppose that would be okay, but trying to do logic games while wearing spandex pants was very distracting.

Just take the GMAT this week and then study for the LSAT if you still feel the need to retake your 175 Feb score

Started calling nearby schools that offer the June test. Figured I'd call their pre-law advisor because they should know about the testing conditions there.

First place: "Uh... we don't offer the LSAT here."

It was then I realized that people don't exaggerate the uselessness of UG pre-law advisors.

Fortunately she then transferred me to "Testing." I wasn't aware this was a department colleges had. The woman in the "Testing" office was awesome. Had the dimensions of desks, what the writing surfaces were like, A/C settings, chairs, space per taker, number of students per row.. Now to hope they don't fill up before I cobble together $170.

Never talked to mine and I'm better for it.

Just to bump up my own thread. Hope everyone's studying is going well!

I know that in the past, study groups got into nutrition discussions, esp for anxiety, etc. I highly recommend this tea. It's amazing. It's like you're on a cloud ~*~
