June 2015 Re-Takers Study Thread
For those whom the LOLSAT has scorned with the shattering defeat of a retake.
Please post schedules, questions, musings and frustrations in this thread. June first timers are more than welcome to join this thread as well.
Contra the June thread, I promise fun poll topics and witty banter.
Poll results from 4/3/15:

Retaker here.
I never blind reviewed or took 5 section tests so I should probably do that this time around.

^ Let's keep the shitpoasting to a minimum. Being retakers, we are serious about improving and don't need that nonsense here. kthxbai
I'm working on RC and I've gone through most of the passages once. There are many passage subjects that I remember so it's easier for me to read quickly because it seems a little familiar. Do you guys think that this will give me a false sense of improvement or will it not really make a difference?

Re: June 2015 Re-Takers Study Thread
Looking forward to an afternoon test. I saved about a dozen PTs just in case. I think I want to get a little more systematic with LR and RC and to that end I've just in the past couple days started on the Manhattan LR book. If I can eliminate like one error in each of those three sections plus another one or two mistakes due to jitters, I'll be golden.

I am happy to report a 179 on PT34. I'm especially pleased with this result because I had to power through a mild hangover.
I'm still not entirely comfortable with LG. I thought I took a beating on this test's games but my brute force methods held the line at -2.

I'm not retaking but I took the LSAT 2 times, it's definitely much easier the second time guys. Good luck everybody.

Re: June 2015 Re-Takers Study Thread
Thanks PNJ! What makes it easier the second time (other than more studying)? Nerves easier to handle? More familiar with the testing conditions?PeanutsNJam wrote:I'm not retaking but I took the LSAT 2 times, it's definitely much easier the second time guys. Good luck everybody.
