Hey guys, I need some advice.

I commute to work by train everyday.
Sometimes, I am too exhausted to sit and study for LSAT once I get back home.

So I was thinking of using iPad to review my weak spots while I commute on train.
The thing is I am tech-illiterate.
I have evernote account, but use it in limited way (I think. I don't even know)
What I want to do is clipping the specific logical reasoning problems from PDF and make annotation.
By using evernote, I couldn't find clip feature.
I found highlight, stamps and so on.
And as I searched for more, I found "PDF Expert5" costing about $10.
I am not sure if they have this clipping feature.
What do you recommend?

How do you guys study when you are in the situation papers and pencils are not best options yet you do not waste your time spacing out.

P.S. I watch LSAT tutorial videos sometimes, so other than this.

Any help will be appreciated.

Please clarify - do you mean you just want to review theory on the train, or do actual drilling?

I bring physical drills and pencils with me on the train and just drill logic games on my lap while I'm sitting. Not sure why you're ruling that out. You could even drill standing up.

I only use paper and pencil for LG drilling.

As for LR drilling, I have them loaded on my iPad on an app called Goodreader. (great app, been using it for years). This way i don't have to worry about which LR packet to take with me. I am able to annotate, highlight (cross out wrong answers) and write on the pdf itself. Super easy to transfer files via wifi.

I think there is clip text feature but i have neither used it nor looked into it.

Perhaps you should look into that app.

I always do things on paper with a pen/pencil. I just print out whatever drill packet/question type that I'm going to be working on and bring it with me. If I have a bag I stick them in there. If I have a smaller purse or something I just fold the papers. I've done this on planes, cars (while passenger), while standing in lines places, etc. I think its a viable option and shouldn't be completely ruled out, especially because thats the format that the test is in. However, if you really prefer using an iPad I use an app called Notability for my classes. You can upload PDFs from a Dropbox or Google Drive (or the internet) and write on them using a stylus. You can organize it using different folders and categories.

+1 paper and pen always for drilling. If you're just using it for say something like BR that'd probably be fine. I tried the whole laptop/tablet study and failed. Unless you're using it only as a supplement, don't do it. It'd be like taking creatine but never lifting weights.

I am not planning to do drills on LG.
I prefer to do it on paper too.
And I am not ruling out papers, I've tried so many times on train.

As for the LR, I was planning to go over rather than drilling.
I would never do new PTs on iPad.

Assume I did PT68, and there are 20 LR questions I wanna make sure I nail.
Rest of the questions are unnecessary for me to go over.
So I wanna clip them out and summerize on note with annotation, so when I need to see it, I can find them quickly and avoid rummaging through piles of papers.

You should have Snipping Tool in your Accessories folder, I think. Works for clipping PDF.

I've had great luck with Readdle products (PDF Expert 5 is one of theirs) so you probably can't go wrong there. Try out OneNote if you don't want to spend any money.
