72 just arrived in the post but struggling about whether I should take the full PT tomorrow or just do the RC and LG and take it easy...

Take it easy!!!

Seconded.

Lucky. I got rocked on 71. It was definitely one of the tougher tests I've taken.

Easy it is then.

Wait, what does taking it easy look like? Struggling to remember how I lived before my brain was bombarded with inferences, assumptions and people making stupid bloody vulnerable arguments.

I often tell people to take a few practice tests with 3-5 less minutes per section. I don't think I've ever told them to not sleep or to do tequila shots but I'm open-minded to learning new principles too!

Three beers the night before, 3.5 hours of sleep, ran home after 6.5 hours at work, no A/C for the first section, and nagging health issues almost forcing me to abandon the test garnered me my highest PT (by a goodly amount).

I don't recommend it, but damned if it isn't good for confidence.

ETA: Mike, I'm looking forward to that week 6 matchup. :D

I like my team slightly more than 0% now that two of my players are not suspended -- which I think happened because of said advice above in this thread.

My wife, who knows way more than she wishes about the test, is all, "Stop studying and spend time with your son, you'll be fine!"

"Priorities, woman! You want him to be in private schools, don't you?"

appind wrote:yeah thanks, so i looked up the velocity and the passage. it says the reproduction causes CJD. "ability to reproduce in an unexpected way, one after the other... This cascade of transformations produces a plaque, consisting of thread-like structures that destroy nerve cells."
it still doesn't say that reproduction/plaque is the only cause of CJD, which is needed for reproduction to be necessary for CJD and that's needed for support of choice-C. any line where it says that reproduction is the only way for CJD to occur or choice C isn't fully supported?

It's doesn't say it's the only cause of CJD and it doesn't need to be. The answer choice specifies that, if they could not reproduce, abnormally shaped prions wouldn't cause CJD. For all we know there could be multiple causes of CJD but the answer choice specifically relegates our point of consideration to how these specific prions cause CJD, and the passage tells us that they do so by replicating.

i see now the mention of abnormally shaped prions in the answer choice, so we don't have to worry about causes of CJD other than the ones caused by such prions. but we still need to assume that the only way abnormally shaped prions cause CJD is by reproduction. the passage describes a way how abnormally shaped prions cause CJD but couldn't there be other ways than reproduction that such prions could cause CJD, which the passage never says explicitly?

eta: just drilled pt-35 LR1 at -0 in 30:55 min and will do rc next

I am finished for the week too. It is time to prepare food & accessories I will need on Saturday. After that it will be time to relax & watch Star Trek.

Food advice:

I've been dieting all summer long and recently been eating at maintenance this past week. I sort of want a cheat meal asap which would put me roughly ~1000 calories above maintenance. I should probably eat it today rather than tomorrow right? so I don't really feel crappy tomorrow post meal.

This your second time?

Yup

It's a lot more chill the second time. At least for me.
