Is it a general rule that people usually BR 10 points higher than they're timed score? Like if I BR 172 and get a timed 162, etc.

That's pretty much what has been the difference between my scores, so I don't really know what to make of it.

One question: Let's say I can safely predict that I'm not getting what I need to get into a T-14 on the October administration.

Should I withdraw and not waste one of my 3 attempts?

I don't really see the benefit of taking it besides getting acquainted with taking the test. I'm also kind of scared that if I don't do well on December for some reason (i.e. a monster game or something) then I'll have 2 attempts down by then and that would really really stress me out for February.

is this range on fresh timed modern tests? if not, then may be it's not the range that you should consider unless you have no recent fresh tests left.

how blind is your BR
that is, do you BR
a) before scoring the bubble sheet on 7sage
b) after scoring the sheet on 7sage and only seeing the overall score
c) after seeing only the number of misses in each section
d) after seeing exactly which questions you missed

I'm getting up at the same time as test day, driving to my test site and then going back to my apartment to take PT 74 tomorrow. Anyone doing anything similar?

bombing 72 last weekend has been a blow to my prep. i was planning to not do any more tests had i scored well on 72.

still undecided about which one of 73, 74, 75 i should do tomorrow. which is a must do if one could do only one of these? why (if it can be stated without spoiling the test)?

do 75

ETA: I think because it emulates a "new" PT. Slightly weird LG, dense RC, weird spread of LR questions.

Wooo, beer. Dinner with my parents and the in-laws. Needed many somethings to get through that.

In a bad rut of 167-169 PTs. Going to go through the Manhattan LR guide again this weekend.

I am applying this round. (I'm the guy who asked)

The thing is, even if im applying this round, whats the point of taking the test in October and getting a low 160s (probably) score? Im not going to any school that will accept me with that score anyways....

True. I'm just scared of not getting 170+ on both October and December, which would really freak me out since I would only have 1 attempt left (maybe for February.)

I mean I wouldn't suggest taking February if you want to apply this round anyways. If you do poorly on December, I'd take a year off before applying.

Agreed. February is best used for the next cycle or getting off a waitlist/increasing scholarship money.
