I've been studying a small amount every day using 31-51 for mixed drilling of LR, and timed passages/games for RC and LG. In about 1.5 weeks, I am going to start the 16 week Trainer Schedule, re-read the Trainer, drill from 52-61, and use 62-71 for timed preptests; all the while going over the individual games and passages I didn't finish in time or perfectly from 31-61. This is my third and final take. I'm also buying the LSAT Watch. I plan on waking up progressively earlier so that 7am will be cakes and pies come test day.

Question: How exactly do you do mixed drilling for the PTs 31-51? Just do the sections untimed?

I am drilling questions from 1-38, but would really like to use more recent questions. However, I have used up 52-54 and 57 as drills as part of the LSAT Trainer curriculum, and have almost all of the 60s and 70s for PTs. I wanted to use some of the ones in the 40s as potential PTs. Maybe I should drill a few of the mid- to late-30s PTs and couple early 40s to give me mid- to late-40s as potential PTs? I could always re-do some of the 50s PTs that I have taken as many people suggest retaking them is valuable. Please adviiiiiiiiise  Which PTs do you use for RC/LG timed sections?

Books or show?

I was originally going to write mine on Arctic sovereignty issues, but ended up stumbling upon a very interesting foreign energy policy issue that had very little written on it from the 60s. Don't want to give too much away as I've already probably given way too much identifying information.

Also, was introduced to the show first, but I love the books as well. RIP Lady Stoneheart, Arianne, and Euron :(

Don't worry chief, they're talking about characters who were in the books but they decided to cut for the TV series

Still holding out hope for Euron and the rest of the Ironborn being in Season 6 though

I think they're holding out on showing Euron because we all know he is a certain someone......

I'm not sure what you mean, but he is one of my favorite character in the books. I think they just said fuck the iron islands lets show Dorne, which they really fucked up btw. and don't even know what to say about the absence of young griff either

Ok my bad. I thought you were saying that certain book characters that hadn't been introduced yet are gonna be introduced and then die. Misinterpreted the "RIP".

Just drilled 125 NA questions, without really any sort of break (a mere 5 min). I did many of these questions a few months back, but still, my brain is absolutely fried.

And some of these level 4 NA questions are really difficult, especially those from tests 1-10.

Game one is relatively difficult and game four is very simple.

Passage three is super complex with it's verbiage and concepts but the structure is simple and the questions are the easiest in the section.

Yeah I re-did this test today and the 3rd game about kids on a bus was a real killer. The 1st game wasn't too bad but more difficult than you'd expect for the first game. I agree though the last game was super easy

Do you usually time yourself when doing that many questions?

When everything is said and done, I will have used 31-61 for drilling and 62-71 for fully timed preptests. As of right now, I have been doing timed games and passages of an entire section of the preptests from 31-51, then once I start my study schedule, I will be doing everything from the 52-61 section and going back over everything I got wrong in 31-51.

Checking in..

Going into my Junior year next year and decided to take the LSAT now rather than a year from now..

Took a diagnostic before I got into my studying..scored a 155 YIKES . Hoping to get up to a 165+ in order to achieve my goal of getting into Michigan, UCLA, USC, UT, or Vandy. I'll finish with a 3.7-3.8 GPA.

I've been doing Pithy Pike's study guide and have improved on LR a lot already due to the LRB. LG I got -5 on the 2007 June LSAT, really drilling them now though.

I've already had dreams of doing logic games :(

Good luck everybody we have 4 months to really drill away and get the scores we want!

EDIT: Wouldn't call them dreams, but rather nightmares..

@Shcamz

A 155 is really a great diagnostic IMO, consider the mean LSAT score is a 154. Kudos for being proactive regarding the LSAT too.
Pithy's guide is great, follow that you should have no problem eclipsing 165, I'd say you should be aiming higher TBH, especially if you have a 3.7/3.8 GPA you could have some enticing options. Good luck!

Thanks man! I really like the guide. Having 4 months rather than 3 also allows me to breath a little bit more as well. I would love to creep into the 170s and great some nice offers with my GPA. Good luck to you as well!
