RC: -7 (I'll take it)

Don't know what happened on LG, what I do know is it was nice to see some improvement in LR after the last few tests being -7 each section. RC well I'll take just about anything under -10

Honestly was hoping for better but given -4 on LG and the fact I spaced out on the first RC passage and took 13 minutes, I'll take it. Gonna continue to drill and go over LR this week, but I am going to throw in games each day. May try to take 1 section at least 4 of my 5 mornings before work to have an extra PT score for the week. It also helps to realize that even though a 164 is not where I want to be on test day, it is however nearly the 90th percentile, which is something very few people going to law school ever even get to.

this is SO creepy. you got the exact same break down as me when I took this test last week on Friday. I'm actually mind blown

okay, laying out my game plan for this week. Hopefully putting it in writing will keep me accountable:

Mon: 7:30-8:30 am drill flaw l3; 6:00-9:30 pm drill flaw l3/4
Tues: 7:30-8:30 am drill flaw l4; (ideally 1:30-2:30 drill); 6:00-9:30 pm drill Strengthen l3/4
Wed: Day off! PT70; review wrong/circled answers; drill RC passages until 6:30 (W&Th might switch places)
Thurs: 7:30-8:30 am drill RC; 1:30-2:30 pm drill Grouping games; 6:00-9:30 drill strengthen
Fri: 7:30-8:30 am drill SA; 1:30-2:30 pm drill SA; 6:00-10:00 drill RC/review Manhattan Rc guide
Sat: PT 72 (early!) Hopefully throwing some review in before I leave for a wedding
Sun: Review PT 72; determine what to drill upcoming week.

I kind of reevaluated my plan for the next 3 weeks. My timing on RC has been improving significantly and my timing on G and R are never an issue, so I've been thinking that I need to drill more than I PT. I still plan on taking 5-6 more PTs and BRing every other one, though.

ETA: It's so crazy to think that this will be over in 3 weeks (assuming I don't retake). For context, I started studying back in 2012 and have studied off and on 5 times within the past 3.5 years.

Edit: Nevermind, I found coffee, cheerios, and Disney music. I'm ready!

Hopefully better than I'm PTing now. Ha.

Pitt- I'm taking one that day, too. I might also take one the 29th, but haven't decided if I'll use that day off to PT/BR/drill or just drill.

I think I might take my last pt the day before the test. I tend to do better on pts if I've taken one the day before. If not, I'll do a timed section of each. Still thinking about it.

I haven't PTd two days in a row, but might try this to see how it goes and adjust accordingly.

This, so many times. Get that goal or better PT a week out, and stop with the PTs. By then, you know the material, you have the tools. Just focus on drilling and staying confident.

For some reason I seriously struggle with the words "before" and "after."

SO HAPPY! My second 170+ in 3 days.

That games score is awful and I think it may be because I forgot one of the splits in the third game but I'll find out for certain when I BR tonight. Taking another PT on Friday and, in the meantime, am going to drill LG and take LR and RC timed sections like crazy.

For the first time I'm actually feeling like a 170 in October might not so impossible but I'd like to get a few more in that range before I actually let myself get that optimistic.

Good job dog, I'm real jealous of that RC score. keep it up

I don't necessarily know that I agree. It might depend on the specific person. Thanks to my previous job, I am able to detach emotionally from bad scores very well. In fact, Sat I got one of the lowest pt scores I've received in the past two months (174) and then Sunday I got 180. If I didn't have a lot of practice emotionally detaching from things in order to get the job done, I would completely agree.

I am thinking about it though, and perhaps I just won't score it or will just do three consecutive timed sections the day before.
